Hotels with Pools in Fontcuberta

Great service, the staff are so friendly, everything is very clean and the breakfast is excellent

Where to start. Everything was wonderful! The location is at a lovely, beautiful Spanish village, where you can come home to relax after sightseeing the village itself or many other lovely places in the area/nearby (close by other lovely towns as Banyoles, Figueres (Dalí or other museums), Girona, Besalu, Olot and so on + no longer than an hour drive to Port Lligat, Cadaqués (Dalí and beautiful village anyhow), Vic and more). It’s perfectly situated and a perfect place to drive around to see Catalunya and come back to this great home base! The place is big enough and you have all the privacy. Also, there is enough parking space. The house is beautiful from the outside and inside and has so much character: typical Spanish and decorated with beautiful paintings, also of the famous owner Olga! The owners Olga & Llorrens are the most welcoming, kind, friendly and heartwarming persons. They live the Spanish saying: mi casa e su casa. A beautiful couple who made us feel very welcome from the beginning; they brighten up your day! They were also super helpful and gave several advice on where to go, to eat or what to see in the area. The breakfast was made with love everyday. The space was clean and our beds were great; we slept very well. I’ve been in southern Spain with friends and to work, then in Barcelona for work, and then I ended up here to spend some holidays and it was the best ending of my Spanish journey I could wish for. Thank you so much for the great stay! Highly recommended.

Our stay at Hotel Mas Vidal was a wonderful surprise. After our flight was delayed, we needed a last-minute place to stay, and we couldn’t have found a better one. The rooms were absolutely fabulous—beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The hotel itself is a lovingly renovated old family house, which gives it so much character and charm. The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was another highlight. Both lunch and breakfast were outstanding, and the menu was absolutely delicious. It was easy to see the quality and attention to detail in every dish, and knowing the chef previously worked in a Michelin-starred restaurant made perfect sense after tasting the food. Our children had a fantastic time enjoying the pool, while we appreciated the peaceful surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. We were also excited to hear they’re expanding with more rooms and a spa. We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. Hotel Mas Vidal turned an unexpected travel delay into one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful 11 days at Can Maximino, this place is really special. We arrived and the house was beautiful presented. The kitchen is very well equipped. The pool was a fabulous temperature and very good size surrounded by a wonderful garden! The area is so peaceful and the view from the terrace is so pretty. The restaurant that’s a minutes walk away is 100% a must visit. Joan the host, was so helpful and attentive. Her mother and sister live next door were lovely lovely people. Lastly Mingu and Nuk the neighbours dogs were the most friendly dogs, and great for children to be around, my children were sad to leave them! When in Catalonia again we will be staying at Can Maximino!

We had an unforgettable stay at this magnificent historic estate, which is nearly 1,000 years old. It beautifully combines a deep sense of history with all the modern comforts you could need. The atmosphere is truly special — it feels as if time slows down the moment you arrive. The hosts were wonderful, warm, and welcoming, making the experience even more memorable. And the breakfast was simply outstanding — truly second to none.

The location was perfect for all aspects of our trip. Close to the lake, cafes, restaurants and shops (supermarket / butchers / bakery / chemist / hardware store) whilst being in a quiet street. The host met us and facilitated a smooth arrival. The premises were clean, spacious, well maintained and tidy with good facilities and a nice simple decor. Free WiFi, a clean kitchen and and en-suite for every room with good powerful showers. This place is perfect for cyclists as it has loads of space for bikes, as well as good washing facilities. The location is perfect for a range of rides, particularly the Rocacorba climb or a lap of the lake. Free parking was nearby and ample.

It was perfect! we originally booked for one night but stayed for two. I recommend! The host was the kindest person, and he took care of us a lot. Thank you!

Lourdes was super friendly and let us arrive before the check-in time and also do a late checkout. The house has a locker that you can leave the keys outside so even if you are in a big group of people 1 set of keys is enough.

Perfect, spacious villa with pool. Easily accommodated 4 adults and 2 children. Had everything you needed and more. Quiet location with shops and amenities close by. 20 minutes from Gerona airport.

The staff was super attentive. The room was incredibly clean. They even left a small pet bed and 2 bowls for our dog! The shower was amazing, with great pressure and hot water. The breakfast buffet had lots of cheese, bread, fruit and amazing tortilla. The restaurant was impeccable. The location was stunning.
