L’Autre Maison is perhaps one of the most serene, relaxing and comfortable hotels you will ever experience. The hosts are beyond professional yet they are super friendly, attentive and instantly make you feel welcome and at home. The attention to detail from the decor, to the facilities, to the food, to the hosting is exceptional. The food is home cooked and of top restaurant quality at a more than reasonable price. The selection of wines from the local vineyards is also impressive and again at a very reasonable price. We have travelled throughout the world and stayed at many many hotels and this one has got to be in our top 3. We will absolutely be visiting again, but next time for an extended period. A point to note for motorcyclists, there is garaged parking which is both secure and will accommodate several bikes.

We had a fantastic stay here. The villa was in a beautiful location and was extremely comfortable and well equipped. It was easy to find and there was loads of space to park. It felt very secure with lockable gates for the drive and shutters on all the rooms. The villa was very well equipped and all the appliances and the air conditioning worked well. The wifi connected up straightaway and was very fast. The bedrooms were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage. There is a lovely seating area for outdoor dining and that had plenty of shade. There is also a gas BBQ. The swimming pool was outstanding. A really good size and a comfortable temperature. It was a real bonus that all towels were included in the rental, including pool towels, which saved a lot of suitcase space. There's lots to do in the area; Ales, Uzes and Nimes are all within easy reach and there are lots of beautiful villages locally. Martignargues itself is small but very pretty and nearby Vezenobres is absolutely stunning. It also has an excellent bakery. The Saturday market in Uzes was fabulous but it's well worth getting there by 8.30 as it gets extremely busy and by 10.30 it was absolutely packed. We parked at the sports stadium and walked into the city centre - parking was free and it was only a 5 minute walk. We would definitely recommend the villa and would be very happy to come and stay again.

We loved everything about this family run hotel. Louie (owners son) was warm and welcoming. All made us fell welcomed. Originally, we only arranged dinner for our first night; it was so good and intimate (served in our room), we arranged for dinner on our second night (fortunately the weather allowed us to eat outside on our private deck). Breakfast was also served in our room. Hot tub - FABULOUS! From La Madison 1 hour drive to Chateauneuf du Pape and Place Auc Herbes (small village recommended by Louie - great Sunday street market).

Our stay at this vacation house was absolutely fantastic! The host Nadège was exceptional, making us feel welcome from the start. The house was spacious, with a fully functional outdoor kitchen and jacuzzi. And the highlight of it all was the large, inviting pool that became the heart of our vacation. The region was beautiful and less touristy than Cote d'Azur, offering a serene escape. With a group of 12 adults and 3 dogs, the fenced terrain and ground-floor room with garden access were perfect. An oasis of relaxation we won't forget! If you're looking for a peaceful family retreat away from the hustle and bustle, I highly recommend booking this vacation house.

Evelyne and Alain were very welcoming, friendly and helpful during our stay. We arrived during a heatwave and the air conditioning was extremely appropriate. The swimming pool was also a big bonus with the high temperatures.The location was most convenient for the sights in the surrounding area. We expressed an interest in the pretty bed linen and Evelyne quickly produced a brochure, from which we have subsequently placed and received an order. Car parking was next to the house, inside a locked gate - very safe and secure. Breakfasts were obviously a labour of love for Evelyne and were different each day - wonderful.
