Amazing views and a really nice pool also there’s a restaurant owned by them right across the road that has everything you need. Has spacious rooms and bathrooms and is also 15 minutes away from one of the most beautiful and famous lakes in Europe its absolutely stunning would highly recommend also really good price

I work in a Hotel myself and I have to say the hotel and the staff was beyond excellent. We never experienced such a luxurious and relaxing holiday. From food till cleanliness and professionalism. Perfect. 10/10 and we would love to come back one day!

Location Surroundings Always feel very welcome.

Excellent location - very peaceful. One needs a car however as it is deep in the country/hills. The pool was big enough for our family; there was wine and sweets waiting for us when we arrived; and Maria our host brought us tomatoes and cucumber (from her garden)! All communications was very easy as the hosts live nearby and answer within half hour. There is a lovely table on the patio outside for our meals. And the pool - again - was magnificent. Very private. And with views out to the sea towards Rethymno. The house was also beautifully decorated and had everything one needed (like cooking utensils etc).

Authentic village home. Everything you need. The pool and garden are fantastic. Stefanos cool, helpful and engaging. And the short walk into the village to the excellent Maza taverna is a treat. Don't miss the astonishing small church in the village square.

The villa was out the way so we could just relax

We are a family of five who recently enjoyed a wonderful stay in this house an hour from Chania, offering a perfect blend of seclusion and stunning scenery. The location, nestled away from the bustle of city life, provided us with a private retreat where we could truly unwind. Surrounded by breathtaking views, the house itself was impeccably clean and maintained to a high standard, with all the facilities we could need. The sea and beaches are 20 minutes away by car. Our host was exceptional, ensuring every detail was taken care of and making us feel warmly welcomed. The private pool was a highlight, offering a refreshing escape during warm days, especially for the kids. Each morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the terrace, soaking in the serene atmosphere. This house is ideal for those seeking tranquility without compromising on comfort. Whether lounging by the pool or exploring the picturesque surroundings, we felt completely at ease. We highly recommend this property for a memorable and relaxing getaway.

My own and my sister's family, together with our mum, stayed at Villa Halases in Alikampos and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. Everything about this place was just perfect – peaceful, beautifully done, and incredibly welcoming. The villa itself has recently been renovated and modernised, and you can really tell. It’s modern and stylish, but still keeps that cozy, Cretan charm. Everything was super clean and well looked after – from the comfy beds to the sparkling bathrooms (5 in total, which was fantastic with our large family) and the lovely kitchens (2 large ones and a smaller one upstairs), and everything is new. You could tell the owners put so much care into every detail! Speaking of which – the hosts were amazing. So kind, helpful, and genuinely warm people. They were there if we needed anything, but also gave us total privacy. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s home, not just a rental. The location is perfect – tucked away in the quiet village of Alikampos with stunning mountain views, but still really close to beaches, tavernas (try the one in Maza - hidden gem in our opinion!), and day trips around Apokoronas and Chania. We loved waking up to birdsong and ending the day with a glass of wine by the pool. What we really enjoyed was walking the Imbros gorge, which is less than half hour drive from the villa. The outdoor area? Just wow. The pool and garden are so peaceful, and there are so many spots to sit, relax, read, or enjoy a meal (and everywhere there is super fast WiFi coverage which was great). It’s exactly what you picture when you dream of a holiday in Crete. We left feeling completely recharged and already talking about when we can come back. If you’re looking for a place to truly unwind and feel at home in Crete, Villa Halases is it. Can’t recommend it enough!

Highly recommended. A brand new villa in the middle of a tiny village about 10 minutes drive from Georgioupoli and its beaches. The furnishings are modern and stylish so that you quickly feel at home. We were warmly welcomed by Gregory, the landlord, who showed us around and explained everything as well as gave tips for the area. During the stay he was very attentive and helpful. Sleep is peaceful. You only hear the chirping of crickets and the sheep and goats from the olive trees. There is a very good tavern in 5 minutes walking distance. The swimming pool is a dream and big enough to swim properly. We will miss the pool the most. On the next Crete trip we will come back to the villa!

This is the best villa I have rented in all my travels, a new house, new furniture, nice dishes and appliances, very hospitable hosts. I recommend this accommodation to all travelers, I want to thank the hosts for their hospitality

Her communication was top-notch, and she went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
