The property is in a remote location, however the owner provides scooter (rent) and you can easily travel around as the traffic is not that crazy. We enjoyed the peacefulness, amazing breakfast and sharing stories with Romi, who made our stay feel like we belonged there.

The bungalows and the pool are amazing! The view of the rise terrace and Vulcan is breathtaking! The staff was so nice and heartwarming. They wanted us to feel 100% comfortable. Cantik and Ani are the most beautiful girls we met! I can definitely recommend a stay at this hotel!

The staff were amazing! So friendly, polite and helpful! From reception to security, everyone went the extra mile and really made us feel welcome! It was the little things that the staff did that really made our stay special... When my partner told a staff member about my love for elephants, we returned to our room to find a freshly made bed with clean towels in the shape of a elephant. The staff offered to clean our room daily, and respected our privacy when we remained in the room sleeping and chose not to have it cleaned. The location was very peaceful and the staff were helpful with organising transport for tours etc.

The atmosphere. It was so peaceful, like stepping back in time. I loved swimming in the Holy pool when everyone had left and in the morning. Looking out on the garden was so relaxing. One in a lifetime experience. The bungalow was unique. Good idea with the coffee table book. Beautiful. The breakfast was simple but ok.

Ketut and his wife are the perfect hosts. They have a lovely home set back I'n the rice paddies. The room is upstairs with a great view over the rice paddies. There is a balcony. The room is very clean and well appointed with double bed, seating and table ,kitchen with sink and fridge. The bathroom is semi outdoor . Big window with a view. There is an airconditioner There is an outdoor pool which is filled with fresh spring water without chemicals and changed regularly. Ketut has an artistic flair which has produced wonderful mosaics. Really worth a visit.

GumiBali Villa is a beautiful homestay surrounded by rice fields with a volcano looming in the distance. The host, Made, and his family are lovely, gracious, and generous. The grounds are lovingly tended, the home-cooked meals delicious and plentiful. From a small side road you walk along a drainage canal to reach the house, adding to its remote charm. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The main room is very spacious and there is a terrace with a day bed and small table and chairs set. The house pool is perfect for a relaxing dip after a long hot day of running around. We had lovely chats with Made and he shared fruit from his trees with us…passion fruit, oranges (beware of these they are sour, we had a good pucker) and fresh coconut !! We are grateful to him and his family for making us feel welcome and at home. If we ever make it back to Bali we will definitely return to GumiBali… and if not, it will always be in our hearts. Highly recommended for anyone traveling through this area and interested in a warm, unique, and memorable experience.

This property has beautiful panoramic views from all directions! Mr. Made was brilliant in his services and ensured we have a beautiful start to our trip. He took us to all the right places at the right time and also dropped us to the port when we were leaving the property. Danu and Komang were very on point for all the services within the villa! The staff in general was extremely friendly, supportive and very welcoming! Please make sure to have at least one day to enjoy just the property ! The food was delicious, homely and comforting with a variety to choose from. the Villa in itself was beautiful inside out, the architecture, the placement of furnitures, the whole set up accentuates the panoramic views. although we had booked a shared pool, it was still private enough for us to feel like it was ours. This was infinity pool and you could see Mt Abong to the right with rice fields in front and to the extreme left the sea. we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a gateway from hustle and bustle of civilisation while at the same time having conform and leisure.

I was there for an unplaned trip. Book the villa for the good review. Even tough the property's location is not exactly as shown in mapa, but the owner was easy to contact. It's only +-200m from the traditional village. So yah, I can say the location is great. And it has water dispenser, small kitchen. So you can refill your water and cook some simple food too.
