I've traveled to Bali over 20 times and stayed in more than 200 hotels and resorts — and Brave Coffee and Camp easily ranks in my top 5 destinations on the island. It truly holds its own next to five-star properties like Alila Villas and Mathis Lodge, yet comes at a fraction of the price. The area is absolutely magical, offering a level of peace and quiet that's hard to find elsewhere. The rooms are of five-star quality — everything works perfectly, and the bathroom was spotless. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. For me, that's the most important factor when choosing where to stay. The owner personally oversees everything, and every request was handled with care and warmth. It was the best service I've ever experienced. If you value a beautiful room with stunning views of the island, this is a must-visit. The pool was amazing — I ended up spending the entire day there, just soaking it all in. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!

This has been our second stay at Bali Eco Stay, second stay because this is a place Worth coming back to. It's simply a little paradise on earth that's Worth coming back to. The place it self, and the fact that it self sufficient, is worth the stay. But the food, the veiw, the staff, and just the location in it self is worth the trip. Even if I think it is a bit more expensive than it should, specially compared to other places on Bali and with the knowledge it is self sufficient.

The restaurant, the massage near the sawah, and the friendly staff. I really liked the guided trek through the rice terraces which are more beautiful than anywhere else on the island.

Exceptional service by the host Mr. Komang and Mr. Adi. We had requested the pool to be decorated with flowers for our anniversary which was lovely 😍. Mr. Adi cooked us delicious dinner and breakfast accommodating our needs and even gave us snake fruit from the farm to take away with us. The heart shaped pool and the tower are perfect if you are looking for a romantic getaway.

The location, the environment, the tranquility, the paths through the rainforest, the swing bridge, the balcony/terrace, the rooms,the beds, bedlinen and pillows, the breakfasts and the staff were wonderful.

Amazing Resort in beautiful Tabanan, with great Pool, Ponds and even a waterfall. Great food. Location was chosen to be a part of our Jalan Emas pilgrimage from the Spirit Hills project and is highly recommaned to all who is doing this walk

A Hidden Gem Embracing Nature and Comfort – The Manikyang Residence The Manikyang Residence is a true slice of paradise — a serene haven surrounded by lush greenery and thoughtfully landscaped gardens. Scattered across the property are charming little houses for rent, each nestled among coconut palms, banana trees, durian trees, clove trees, and many other tropical plants that fill the air with life and fragrance. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly hosts, Pak Tude and his wife. Once settled, we were treated to fresh coconut drinks served right in their shells — a lovely touch that instantly made us feel at home. The swimming pool is invitingly cool by day and beautifully illuminated at night, perfect for a tranquil evening dip under the stars. What makes this place truly special is its harmony with nature. The chorus of frogs and crickets at night, the sight of birds’ nests among the tall rafters, and the little frogs leaping away as you pass — all remind you that this is a place where humans and nature coexist peacefully. Even the ants go about their day respectfully, as if part of the rhythm of life here. The accommodation itself is beautifully designed, combining traditional Javanese craftsmanship with modern comfort. The buildings, made from wood brought from Java, feature exquisite detailing reminiscent of classic Javanese houses. Inside, the wooden beams and structures retain their traditional charm, while the kitchens and bathrooms are refreshingly modern — with powerful hot showers, bidet-equipped bathrooms, and thoughtful touches that make every stay comfortable. We loved it so much that we extended our stay! There’s even a larger house ideal for families or groups of six. It has two spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds — one featuring two sets of brand-new bunk beds — and a kitchen with gas cooking and a large fridge-freezer for all your food and drinks.

We stumbled upon this location as we made a last-minute change in our holiday schedule and we got ve-ry lucky! The staff was very caring and both the owners David and Cameron were very hospitable, to the point we almost felt guilty for not staying longer (in a good way!). The resort is perfect for those looking to distance themselves from their busy life and return to the present, with the beautiful lush tropical garden surrounding the accommodation. Although it's far away from other towns, there is nothing you miss out on as they have everything at the resort and do organized tours as well.

Extremely beautiful place. Better than the photos. Peaceful and quiet. Away from the crowds but close to everything on a scooter. The ideal place for those looking for nature at its best. Wonderful massages and very friendly and welcoming staff. Here you taste the real balinese food too! They helped with everything we needed. The best landscape we saw in Bali, the real Bali away from Instagram queues.
