A hidden oasis in Lombok – our perfect place to relax before flying home We stayed at Origin Lombok for one night before flying back to Kuala Lumpur, and honestly, we wish we had booked more nights. Driving to the resort, we were a little surprised. The last part of the road passes through a small local village and isn’t very impressive. But as soon as we entered the property, it felt like stepping into a completely different world. A true hidden oasis. The gardens are beautifully maintained, full of tropical plants and flowers, creating a peaceful jungle atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless and tastefully designed, with a huge comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, a large terrace with a daybed, and direct access to the pool. We especially loved the private feeling thanks to the lush greenery between the terrace and the pool. The staff were exceptional. Unfortunately I lost my note with their names but they worked 2-3/7! We arrived well before check-in, but our room was already ready, and they helped us with everything from luggage to restaurant recommendations. I had unfortunately been recovering from a bacterial stomach infection, and the restaurant staff couldn’t have been kinder. They prepared a simple grilled chicken breast with plain rice exactly as I requested, and even brought me two bananas free of charge because they knew bananas are good for the stomach. That level of care meant a lot to us. The pool area is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of space to relax, and even the outdoor shower hidden among the tropical plants felt luxurious. Breakfast was delicious, the service throughout the resort was warm and genuine, and we left feeling completely relaxed before our journey home. Origin Lombok is more than just a hotel—it’s a peaceful sanctuary. We would happily return and stay much longer!

We had such a wonderful time at Giri Rose and couldn’t recommend it more. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and really comfortable. We especially loved the cozy balcony with a beautiful view of the pool. It was the perfect spot to relax. After a long day at the beach, hanging out in the pool is an absolute must. It’s such a refreshing way to unwind. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. They went out of their way to make sure our stay at the hotel and our time in Kuta Lombok went as smoothly as possible. Their warm hospitality really stood out. Breakfast and the food in general were exceptional, big portions and plenty of options. My picky eater son gave their pasta a solid 10 out of 10! We also tried the ayam Taliwang and rendang and were not disappointed at all. Delicious local flavors done right. One more big plus, the hotel is away from the traffic, so it’s peaceful, yet still quite close to central Kuta. Perfect location balance. We’ll definitely be back!
