Had a really great time at this place! The rooms were clean and well-equipped. There was a nice swimming pool and the spa services were really impressive! The place is really close to the beach, a very comfortable walk. The only thing I'll say is that there is only one nice restaurant to eat in the walkable vicinity. But if you can get an auto, there's a few nice places to go to. I want to especially mention Clint, the manager, who was lovely to talk to and really helpful. Unfortunately my son got hurt during the trip and he took him to the hospital.

It was a great pleasure staying in Amaya! The property is just gorgeous, the rooms are decorated with so much love and attention to details that it feels like home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We really loved our dinners served on the terrace. All the additional services that we booked we also great. The yoga teacher is extremely proficient and the massage therapists were good as well. First time being in Kerala and finding Ameya is pure luck! We will definitely come back for a longer stay.

The host is very nice and accommodating. We had been traveling all day and after checking in late, he brought us up a bowl of fresh fruit because we didn't give a solid answer on if we had eaten or not. So sweet! 10/10 recommend doing the backwaters tour with him. It is such a special experience. His friend Valentine does a beautiful tour and dinner.

Bamboo Lagoon resort was great for our stay. The resort is facing the backwaters and you arrive from your vehicle on the opposite side. From there you'll have to take a small boat and cross to the other side. The boats are available all day. Taking the boat ride every time was a unique experience. We had arrived in Alleppey at 6AM in the morning and even though it was not the check in time, the staff allowed us early check in and were extremely helpful. Especially Laxman. He catered to all our needs. All during the stay, the staff were courteous and helpful. The property is nice, clean and green. There are 6 rooms/cottages with all facilities inside. The front porch area is relaxing and since it faces the backwaters, you can just sit all day and watch the houseboats go. There is a pool as well which is big enough and has deck chairs too. All in all it was a pleasant stay for us.

The ambience was good, the rooms were clean, the staff were always ready to help, the food was tasty, the parking area was spacious. The view from the room was very beautiful. I was attending my college batch reunion, which was also organized in one of the halls in Olivia. The hall was spacious for the function. The establishment was very helpful in the smooth completion of the event.

From the moment we arrived in Kerala the owners of Fools Paradise took care of everything. Firstly, an airport transfer was waiting for us, making the journey stress free. When we arrived at the property Shibu & Sini greeted us with a warm welcome, chia, coffee, cold drinks & showed us to our air conditioned, en suite room. Just what you need in Kerala! The top notch hospitality continued throughout our week long stay. From breakfast cooking lessons, to family introductions & everything in between, we were made to feel right at home. Shibu & Sini are wonderful. They work hard to make sure every guest is take care of, while keeping the house, garden & pool clean & tidy, and cooking the most amazing Indian food too! A hire scooter arranged in advance by the owner arrived 1/2 an hour after we checked in. Perfect! We love to explore. One day we had a guided tour to a local museum, cafe & heart warming orphanage. The constant stream of guests coming & going shows just how good Fools Paradise is! We met some lovely people throughout our stay. I must also mention the wildlife in the garden, geckos, uppan birds, woodpeckers, hummingbirds. All varieties of butterfly. It’s a real oasis! We were sad to leave but our departure was made seamless with another airport transfer arranged by the owners. Kerala is a fantastic, beautiful part of the world. It’s not glamorous or pretentious. There are gorgeous beaches & lots of good places to eat near the home stay. Keralan food is outstanding & the people are friendly, helpful & inviting. If you are planning a visit we highly recommend staying at Fools Paradise. We will be returning! Thank you 😊 ❤️

We booked Shantitheeram as the images looked impressive. and when we visited the place we were glad that the place in real looked even more beautiful. We were expecting it to be only an ayurveda centre but Shantitheeram turned out to be a lot more fun than that. Everything was commendable - be it the doctor, the therapists, the staff, food or the amenities. The serene location is an icing on the cake.

One of the best stays I have ever had, very clean property in a secluded place, peaceful environment. Helping and friendly staff, the welcome drink tea and snacks were all home made and hygienic. Sunny George and Jibin sahu were very friendly and made us feel at home. We were constantly checked upon for any help and guidance, We weren't even charged extra for extending the checkout, the swimming pool was maintained well, and the beach is just a few steps away from thumpoly beach. Very happy and satisfied with the stay.
