Took us 6 years to come stay here. Though we have ended up at this place for a meal almost 5 times in the last 6 years, we always left having the feel to experience this place to more. Finally we did come back, this time to stay and experience their hospitality, and we leaving again not wanting to leave. It was a busy weekend in Munnar. Never have I ever driven to Munnar with constant traffic jams in the ghat section. The moment we entered the property, all the chaos outside was left behind. With such serene and calmness, the property felt a perfect escape. Highlight of the stay was the food. A perfect example of minimal yet wholesome dining experience. You are left with very minimal to no choice in terms of menu in a good way. They have their set course menu, with very basic, organic and finger licking dishes.

The stay for our familiy was excellent. The manager and staff was very friendly and did what they could to ensure a plesant stay for us. Breakfast is basic, but good. The rooms we stayed in were excellent and the swiming pool area was great. The location is a in a quite place and may be a bit difficult to find. Manoj, the manager, also helped to arrange transport with Mahendra, which ensured reliable transport

We had the most delightful family getaway at Era Resort by Stride in Munnar! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the peaceful tea plantation setting and warm hospitality. Our Gardenia Cottage was cozy and beautifully appointed, offering stunning valley views that made every morning special. The infinity pool became our happy place, where we relaxed for hours surrounded by nature's beauty. Meals at the restaurant were a treat, especially the delicious Kerala appams that we still crave. The complimentary tea estate walk at sunset created magical family memories we'll cherish. A special thank you to the wonderful staff and management - your genuine care and attention to detail made our stay truly exceptional. From remembering our coffee preferences to your thoughtful recommendations, you made us feel like valued guests. This was one of those rare, perfect stays where everything comes together beautifully. This property was absolutely amazing. The service from start to finish was outstanding. The property is clean, comfortable and surrounded by lush green. The grounds are stunning with all the beautiful flowers and very well maintained. Compared to a regular hotel, you can go for a little stroll outside around the grounds. It is extremely peaceful and all you can hear are the birds, a true gem in the region. The room was very spacious and had a lovely bathroom and balcony with an amazing view. The wifi was very quick. The restaurant was light and super clean and the food was absolutely phenomenal, they have a choice of local cuisine and international. All the food we had was outstanding and fresh. They always give complementary water. I have a severe allergy to gluten (celiac disease) As soon as I entered the restaurant, the chef came straight over and made food especially for me that was safe. I would like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Vidya and all the staff at the restaurant for going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and with many extra special touches they added for us. I would also like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Sveta at reception for ensuring we had a comfortable stay and giving us a beautiful room. She was very helpful in helping organise transport etc.. This resort has little reviews as it is a new property! I would highly recommend staying here. It was by far the best place we stayed in in Kerala. An absolute Gem and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely go back.
