Everything about the experience was exceptional — the breathtaking views, the peaceful environment, and the delicious food all contributed to an unforgettable stay. What truly sets Windermere apart, however, are its people. From day one, we were made to feel genuinely welcome and cared for, like part of the family. The service was outstanding, thoughtful, and warm, with the team consistently going above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were incredibly fortunate to celebrate Christmas Eve there with our family, which turned into a joyful and memorable occasion filled with beautiful moments we will treasure. Another highlight was the walk through the cardamom plantation with the resident naturalist — she was excellent, incredibly knowledgeable, and it was a fascinating experience.

This property was absolutely amazing. The service from start to finish was outstanding. The property is clean, comfortable and surrounded by lush green. The grounds are stunning with all the beautiful flowers and very well maintained. Compared to a regular hotel, you can go for a little stroll outside around the grounds. It is extremely peaceful and all you can hear are the birds, a true gem in the region. The room was very spacious and had a lovely bathroom and balcony with an amazing view. The wifi was very quick. The restaurant was light and super clean and the food was absolutely phenomenal, they have a choice of local cuisine and international. All the food we had was outstanding and fresh. They always give complementary water. I have a severe allergy to gluten (celiac disease) As soon as I entered the restaurant, the chef came straight over and made food especially for me that was safe. I would like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Vidya and all the staff at the restaurant for going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and with many extra special touches they added for us. I would also like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Sveta at reception for ensuring we had a comfortable stay and giving us a beautiful room. She was very helpful in helping organise transport etc.. This resort has little reviews as it is a new property! I would highly recommend staying here. It was by far the best place we stayed in in Kerala. An absolute Gem and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely go back.
