This property was absolutely amazing. The service from start to finish was outstanding. The property is clean, comfortable and surrounded by lush green. The grounds are stunning with all the beautiful flowers and very well maintained. Compared to a regular hotel, you can go for a little stroll outside around the grounds. It is extremely peaceful and all you can hear are the birds, a true gem in the region. The room was very spacious and had a lovely bathroom and balcony with an amazing view. The wifi was very quick. The restaurant was light and super clean and the food was absolutely phenomenal, they have a choice of local cuisine and international. All the food we had was outstanding and fresh. They always give complementary water. I have a severe allergy to gluten (celiac disease) As soon as I entered the restaurant, the chef came straight over and made food especially for me that was safe. I would like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Vidya and all the staff at the restaurant for going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and with many extra special touches they added for us. I would also like to extend a special recognition and thanks to Sveta at reception for ensuring we had a comfortable stay and giving us a beautiful room. She was very helpful in helping organise transport etc.. This resort has little reviews as it is a new property! I would highly recommend staying here. It was by far the best place we stayed in in Kerala. An absolute Gem and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely go back.

I loved it! If you are looking for a calm and peaceful stay, this is for you. Surrounded by nature with a really nice view. Beds are super comfortable and the stuff was really friendly and helpful. It’s a 30-40min tuktuk ride from Munnar town so a bit outside but for me it was perfect cause it was so quiet. There also building a pool right now so if you come later you also have a really nice pool area :))

We really enjoyed our stay at Viceroy. It is beautiful and the views are amazing. The hotel room was spacious and exceeded our expectations. The food was also very good. Our stay was extra special thanks to Abin who always welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel comfortable instantly. Abin was also very helpful in giving us information about activities to do close by and in the hotel. We also enjoyed the spa thanks to the great spa team. A special thank you to Nimisha for a great massage and for being so lovely. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

We enjoyed visits to all attractions along the Mattupetty...

We enjoyed visits to all attractions along the Mattupetty Dam Route, Madurai Route, Kochi Route and Erivakulam National Park. On the cultural side, we visited the Kathakali Dance Shows in Punarjani Traditional Village and Kalari Kshetra. We relished Idli, Ghee Dosai and Chapathi at Hotel Saravana Bhavan (Pure Veg) beside Saravana Spices Shop. Getting around Munnar is easy when compared with big cities. We could not enjoy a boat ride at Kundala Lake and Sengulam Dam due to heavy rush of tourists. The lake at the echo point was totally dry. That apart, getting drenched and watching the tourists taking a boat ride in the rain, photographing the Nilgiri Tahr at Erivakulam National Park, visit to tea plantations.....these were some of our memorable experiences at Munnar.

Place was good whereas heavily crowded due to holidays, all site seeing places took more waiting time Especially onward journey through Pollachi Udumalpet route is hectic, road is too small not recommended to go by big vehicles. To cross 25 KM took 5 hours 😔

the dam, national park , elephant ride , falls , glass bridge , botanical garden were all beautiful. The problem with traffic jam . Even after 10 years ( first visit 2016) , town seems to same and expansion of roads still under way

Munnar is a place full of scams.

Munnar is a place full of scams. If you want to just relax, you can go and stay in Munnar. Don't even go sight seeing as besides tea plantations, there is nothing worth to see. All tourist places have high admission fees with hardly anything worth to see. Days are very hot but it cools down a bit in the night.

I often travel to Munnar and each time it wonders me with more & more. The climate, Tea estates, clean localities with nice people. It most safest place too in the world with good educated people around.

Very Disappointing Stay at RaaRees Munnar Inn (6–8 Feb) I recently stayed at RaaRees Munnar Inn from 6th to 8th February with a group of 11 people, and unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant and frustrating experience. First and foremost, the hotel’s actual name and address are not properly updated on Booking.com. This caused a lot of confusion because there is another hotel named “Munnar Inn” in the main market area. We were misdirected and ended up wasting nearly 2 to 2.5 hours trying to locate the correct property. After a long journey, this was extremely inconvenient and stressful. Secondly, the hotel images shown on the booking site are highly deceptive. The rooms in reality were not clean and had a noticeable foul smell. The overall condition did not match what was advertised, which was very disappointing. We had booked accommodation for 11 guests, but were provided only 4 rooms, each suitable for just 2 people. While extra beds were given, blankets were not provided initially. We had to repeatedly follow up with the staff and only managed to get blankets on the second night, which was unacceptable. The hospitality and service were poor. During breakfast, basic items like tea and bread were kept in very limited quantities. Every time we requested additional tea or bread, it was a struggle and required multiple reminders. There is also no proper open space to sit or relax on the property. Even basic amenities like toiletries and dental kits were not readily available and had to be requested multiple times. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. The misleading information, poor cleanliness, inadequate room arrangements, and lack of proper hospitality made the experience extremely unpleasant. I would not recommend this property to others, and the management seriously needs to improve transparency, cleanliness, and customer service. Not Good At All

Property near to the city. .Amazing and friendly receptionist. Helped us to arrange auto for day trip and suggested us many places in and around Munnar. Although the hotel is not luxurious but excellent enough to stay if you are on budget. Room and bathroom and blankets were clean. Very tasty restaurant just 100mtrs near to the hotel. Would recommend to try it out!

Everything was great. This is my favorite hotel when I visit Munnar. The views are unreal, the staff is so nice and accommodating and the property is beautiful. Swimming among the clouds in a temperature-controlled pool overlooking the hills is truly an unforgettable experience, every single time.
