VINEHO was the most perfect experience. I was going to stay in Alba for 5 nights, but I decided to treat myself, and it was the best decision I could make. I was worried that my expectations were too high as I have Italian heritage, and I love Barolo wine, but VINEHO blew my expectations away! I was a solo traveller (in my early 30s), and even though I was the only guest for my whole stay, it was magnificent. Cristina was an extremely helpful, friendly, and hospitable host. She allowed me to check in early and responded to my WhatsApp messages within minutes. Each time I saw her, she had a glowing smile, and she happily chatted with me in our mix of English and Italian. Lucia, Cristina's daughter, was also very kind and sociable. Lucia was always present during breakfast. She made coffee and happily conversed with me about VINEHO, the vineyard, and life. I also had the pleasure of briefly meeting Lucia's nonna and nonno, who were both very happy and welcoming. The breakfast was a highlight - in addition to Lucia's warm pressence, there was delicious Italian food prepared by Lucia's nonna each morning, plus a range of fruit from the garden and other homemade cakes. Everything reminded me of my nonna's cooking. And if everything above isn't enough to convince you, the pool was magical, the views were stunning, the apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped... 10/10 I will return!
