Excellent! We found it last minute because we left our Perugia accommodation after it turned out to be a dump, despite stellar reviews! This place was a breath of fresh air! Absolutely clean, spacious, beautiful! Made our weekend extremely enjoyable! I have to emphasize cleanliness as in both feel and looks which is not very common in the area!

Wow! A whole castle pretty much to ourselves! Exploring around the property, the village and surrounding area on foot was delightful. We love touching ancient walls, walking through rooms filled with antiques, using the old stone staircase worn smooth from thousands of footsteps! Awesome. The breakfast buffet was excellent and our evening meals were some of the best we had in Italy! Highly recommend spending a few days relaxing here.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Egle. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful old palace atmosphere that's been transformed into a comfortable guest house. The property is surrounded by and expansive and well-kept garden with an amazing view over the area. The room blended historic beauty with modern comforts and was exceptionally clean. Although I didn't travel with a dog, I was delighted to meet the owner's puppy and to learn that the property is dog friendly. I highly recommend Villa Egle, especially for couples seeking a romantic escape. It is conveniently located just a short distance from Perugia and from the many picturesque hamlets of the Umbria region.

We have stayed for 3 days, and this was my absolute best hotel experience (and we have been to various, well known high end hotels before). The service, rooms, cleanliness, nature, ambiance, breakfast, kindness of the owners were some of the best things I can highlight… the only thing that I would like to change would be bringing my kids here because I know that they would also love it.
