We had a wonderful stay and were very happy with everything. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. Our apartments was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. Valentina was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help whenever we needed anything, which made us feel right at home and plus her parents were there nearby to help anytime also. The pool and beautiful surroundings made it the perfect place to relax. We would happily stay here again.

Our whole experience at Monastero San Silvestro was better than we could ever have imagined! We were in touch with Christian on the day of our arrival to let him know when we would arrive and the check-in process was very quick and smooth. If we had any questions at all, we could WhatsApp Christian and he would reply. The accommodation is beautiful (better than the photos!) We were give a one bedroom, first floor apartment and it was lovely... Very rustic, but with all the modern conveniences we needed (air con, wifi, TV, microwave and hairdryer). The bed was really comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was invigorating! The setting is wonderful and we were glad we brought our swimming costumes as the swimming pool was great (very clean and not too cold!) The cherry on top was the breakfast, served between 08:00 and 10:00, a buffet style breakfast is laid out with cereals, pastries, cheese and meats, plus fruit and yoghurt - everything was delicious! We really cannot recommend Monastero San Silvestro highly enough! If you're going to be in the Cortona area, you'll regret not staying here!

Sitting in the courtyard and gazing at the stunning landscape and glorious sunsets, added to the incredible experience of exploring this mesmerising Italian region. Nice location in the countryside not far from Castiglion Fiorentino. Hosts were nice, very responsive communications, and actively dealt with any issues that came up quickly. Accommodation was downstairs apartment of the family house but outside was our own and felt like they gave us our privacy. Pool was great, we travelled with a 7yrs old and was perfect for cooling off in hot weather. Plenty of outside space to relax. Andrea provided us with a BBQ, which was much appreciated!

We were heartfelt welcomed by the tango dancers turned hotel owners, Cinzia and Claudio. The property is beautifully decorated with plenty of spots for relaxation and a nice pool. Our room was clean, had all the necessary amenities and a comfy bed. Can definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t be more satisfied! The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and very well maintained in every detail. The spaces were comfortable and immaculate, while the garden was simply stunning — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The pool was fantastic and we truly enjoyed every moment there. One of the highlights was that the house was fully equipped with everything we needed for breakfast, which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. There was also easy and secure parking available. The hosts were exceptional — kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering easy access to explore Tuscany and the surrounding areas. We highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back in the future!
