It was a home away from home! Agnes and her team took me in and cared for me, gave me tips, and fed me. The room is very spacious and pretty. I loved to have my own seating area infront of my bungalow although I preferred to sit in the main area on a couch cuddling the dogs.

I spent just one night at Tawi Elegant Rooms in Watamu, but it was enough to leave me with a truly wonderful memory! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a warm smile and great kindness by the owner, Gisella, who was always available and attentive to every need. The staff was amazing – friendly, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. The property is beautifully maintained, in a peaceful and convenient location, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the unique charm of Watamu. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I will definitely come back for more nights in this little paradise. Congratulations to the whole team!

The breakfast was amazing, served in the shortest time after ordering. We really enjoyed our stay at the facility, calm and ambient environment to unwind from the normal busy life schedules. Feeling relaxed and rejuvenated !!

Great staff! Very appealing interior design. The beach isn't the classic sandy beach for swimming and relaxing but offers interesting walks with lots of wildlife - perfect for taking exceptional photos

Beautiful property built by the architect owner using local materials and styles. It is one of the most serene and relaxing places I’ve ever stayed with a view out over the rock to the sea. The staff were friendly, professional and super helpful without ever being overbearing - it was a luxury hotel that still felt like home! We enjoyed a beautiful walk out over the reef, rockpooling on our way to lunch, and a trip to the local Gede ruins, but we equally enjoyed just relaxing and taking in the calm and beautiful surroundings. And the meals were delicious - lovingly prepared local ingredients with lots of variety.

Very good hotel, great location close to a beautiful beach. The owner is extremely kind and helpful — she allowed us to use the hotel facilities even after check-out. We could leave our luggage, change clothes after the beach, and get ready before departure. It is possible to rent a motorbike on site, for about half the price compared to Diani Beach. The rooms are very nice and spacious, with a bathroom, kitchen, and a great view :)

The stay was perfect right when I booked it. The host Abubakar who is the best host you’ll ever encounter sent me videos and photos of the place just for us to get a clear image of the place and the facilities which are amazing and on arrival it was exactly the same as we were welcomed by the host who showed us around and answered any questions we had. It’s a beautiful white villa with a modern look and perfect for that holiday villa you are looking for with the location right near the main watamu areas and activities from Watamu mall to the beach and anywhere else you would need to go, the swimming pool is perfect for all age groups with daily cleaning aswell as daily cleaning of the villa. The staff are amazing and are always there if you need anything. Highly recommend. Thank you for having us Abubakar!

The lady (owner) treated us in the best way possibile, she is super nice and kind and ready to face all of our needs. She is also an excellent cooker and she made a delicious dinner and the breakfast is amazing (fruits, pancakes, eggs, muffins etc). The place is sourranded by nature and it seems to be in a peaceful little paradise. I would highly recommended to choose this place to stay, it is also close to the city centre (5 min by boda boda). I will come back here for sure!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, the pool was amazing, the space was homely and the all the members of staff were a blessing to interact with. From the guard, receptionist, grounds people, pool attending to the chef, everyone made the stay worthwhile. I also deeply appreciated Nicola and Jessica for their availability when something needed to be done or we had a request. I will definitely be coming back.

Cozy, silent house in Watamu. Close to a nice beach and good restaurants. Welcoming and friendly host that made our stay exceptional.

Cleanliness, convenience, peaceful atmosphere, facilities, service, fabulous cool verandah and pool. All the staff are wonderful. Close to great mall with the best ice cream, patisseries, fruit and veg shop and supermarket with everything you need. There is a pharmacy, clinic and atm also. Close to beach. Generator comes on when needed. Well equipped kitchen. Quiet. Winnie our housekeeper/chef was the best - her seafood was divine and she makes a wonderful breakfast with pancakes. She spoilt us lots ensuring the place and our things were spotless. Gorgeous flowering bushes everywhere. We are already planning our next trip as the kids insist on it!

We really enjoyed our stay, tha staff was very kind, welcoming and friendly. Everything was clean and tidy and the pool was great. There was no problem with checking-in early as we had to arrive sooner than planned because of bad weather. Breakfast prepared fresh at the time of your request were a nice touch. As our plane was leaving mid afternoon the staff was kind enough to let as stay at the area, even after the check in, until we had to leave for the plane. 5/5 would recommend.
