Hotels with Pools in Birżebbuġa

The facilities were surprisingly luxurious. Extremely clean. And the bed was one of the best I've have in a long time. Also a 10mins walk to a nice restaurant area. And the staff were warm and welcoming.

Waterfront location with great view of harbour. Close to restaurants and ferry to Valletta. Exceptionally helpful reception staff especially Dora.

Every member of the staff was amazing, the room was cozy and comfortable, the breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've eaten in a hotel and I had a great time. I can absolutely recommend it. :)

Apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood, right by the sea. Parking was always available which was a really nice contrast comparing to the rest of the country. Furthest point on the island was just 1 hour drive away. Apartment itself felt really big. Included all the amenities You might need. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, TVs with IPTV with huge range of movies in 4 different rooms, comfy beds, heatpumps for climate control and of course the pool which gives You a great photo opportunity. Host was really helpful and communicative, helped us with any tips that were needed. Overall this was the first stay in Malta for us and we really enjoyed it!

Best gardens and pool area in Malta….the inside is cosy and welcoming….the staff are exceptional

A wonderful, elegant, quiet hotel in a great location. The staff is particularly friendly and attentive. If you arrive before the check-in time, you can leave your belongings in the hotel's storage and rush off to explore Malta. The room is cozy, perfectly cleaned every day, there is water, coffee and tea. The bathroom is spacious and clean, only a shelf to store cosmetics/things and hangers for towels, robes, bathing suits are too few. Breakfast is excellent, sweet pastries, cold snacks and hot dishes can be ordered from the menu. The indoor pool is very cozy and warm. The pool on the terrace was a bit cold (because it's winter) but the view is perfect! When we return to Malta (because it is impossible not to return), Gomerino Hotel will be among the top choices for our next stay.

Location is sooo convenient. Walking distance to major attractions as well as restaurants and main shopping streets.. Hotel staff esp Robert was awesome and helpful...always smile regardless of how busy he was!! Staff like him always makes guests like myself .feel sooo at home and at ease knowing the best has been given.

We stayed here with my husband for a few nights in June, we loved everything about this place. It's not a luxury type, but we weren't searching for one. The location was great, not too noisy, even tho we had the port view. The view being waterfront was one of the criteria for us. We haven't rented a car or used public transport, just the taxi a few times after walking for about half an hour to Marsaxlokk. Pretty Bay just 20 minutes walk away from the hotel, next to the shops and cafes. I was afraid of the cockroaches, but to my big surprise, we haven't seen a single one around the area, the room was clean and safe from roaches and other creatures as well. Someone might say the breakfast is basic, so it was, but it's enough to keep the stomach satisfied until the lunch. In addition, the room has a mini-refridgerator, which was more than enough to fit in some cheese, pack of salad, some ham, yoghurts and 0,5 l drinks at once. We even put in takeaway boxes in it along with other snacks. The rooftop pool was quite small, but every time we went up there it wasn't crowded at all, once there was just the two of us. The staff! The people working there are awesome, always ready to help and answer all the questions and open to talk. Thank you team for such a great stay for our honeymoon ❤️ I can't point out any disadvantage of the place as it totally satisfied our needs and exceeded the expectations!

Everything was perfect, the house was spacious and extremely tidy.

“An excellent playlce to stay with very friendly hosts, lovely animals, a well-organized environment, and great amenities like a pool and grill.” Admittedly, air conditioning is a lifesaver in the season

Everything was amazing, the property is stunning and the hosts were so helpful. The owner even drove us into town himself on our first day. If you are looking to travel to Malta this is only place you should stay! We loved it!!!! The hosts are so wonderful and friendly too.

If you're looking for more than just sightseeing – if you want to connect with people and experience genuine hospitality – this is the place. For us, it was a warm, heartfelt stay we’ll remember. Thank you for everything – we wish you all the best and hope many more guests come to appreciate this wonderful place as we did! Our stay was truly special! From the start, we felt completely welcome – the host and her husband are warm, open, and incredibly hospitable. On Easter Sunday, they even invited us to meet their family and friends – a real highlight that gave our holiday such a personal touch. The beautiful garden was perfect for our young son to play in. Although the pool hadn’t opened for the season yet, it didn’t take away from our stay, as we spent our days exploring the beautiful Maltese islands anyway. Evenings at the table with the hosts felt more like spending time with friends. One night, our host prepared a delicious, lovingly made dinner for us. Our room was newly renovated, very clean, and nicely furnished. Though the private bathroom wasn’t en suite, it worked perfectly. Breakfast was served daily, and we could even take snacks for our little one. On departure day, the host’s husband kindly drove us to the airport – a wonderful end to a warm and welcoming stay.

The place was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It even had a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, something which we normally don’t get to use, which made the stay even more special. A real draw for us was the ‘remote’ location, quiet surroundings and the views from the balcony. The flat’s balcony overlooks long stretches of fields and farmland, with extensive views of the port in the distance, certain landmarks and Marsaxlokk Bay. It was a real treat to start and end each day sitting on the balcony while taking note of how everything looked different depending on the quality of light from sunrise to sunset, and then at night being able to stargaze since the light pollution is minimal there. The check-in/check-out was made simple with a key-storage safe box. In terms of amenities, we took advantage of Lidl, which is within walking distance and other local convenience shops. Given its location in the centre of the island, it makes an excellent base for exploring and getting to Valetta whilst also having the peace and quiet of the beautiful countryside.

The accommodation was beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail and exceeded all of our expectations. The shared spaces felt warm and welcoming, while still giving everyone their own little corner to relax and feel at home. The pool area created such a peaceful atmosphere — the perfect place to unwind, rest, and simply enjoy the moment. The location was also excellent. The bus station is only a 2-minute walk away and offers easy connections to Valletta and many other parts of the island, making everything very convenient. Everything about our stay was simply perfect. Lora is an exceptionally kind and thoughtful host — always reachable, incredibly organized, and genuinely caring. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The property is beautifully maintained. EVerything was clean, in great working order, and clearly cared for with real pride. The space itself is generous and inviting, with a lovely rustic character that made it feel like a true home away from home. What really set this stay apart was the owner. From the moment we reached out, they were friendly, prompt to respond, and genuinely accommodating. When our plans changed last minute, they were incredibly flexible and went out of their way to make things work for us without any fuss. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside retreat with a host who truly looks after their guests. We'll definitely be back!

I really liked this place. The room was nice and very clean, balcony was just lovely! Breakfast was perfect and location just great! Super friendly and helpful staff. Late check-in worked perfectly fine! Would love to stay here again.
