This was my 4th stay at Ala Residencia. They have the absolute best staff that greets you at the door. Amazing location and rooms are spotless. Amazing views from the rooftop and great location.

The property was convenient to the water shuttle, as well as an excellent restaurant across the street, which was called Ambar Del Mar. We also had breakfast, which was right adjacent to the hotel and that was also very very good with an outside patio. Although the hotel has no elevator guest services help bring our luggage up to the third floor and we had an ocean view balcony room.

The hotel is quite new with a modern reception, meeting rooms, swimming pool, gym and restaurant are on the roof with the best view of the city and Caribbean Sea. The room was lovely and comfortable. They offer an excellent buffet breakfast in the lovely restaurant downstairs. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. In the centre of town so close to everything and a 5 minute walk to the water taxi terminal and evening foreshore market and activities! They offer a free shuttle to the airport.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Lagoon. The hotel is really beautiful and private with a nice swimming pool. It also faces a lagoon that's really nice to look at. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. It's also conveniently close to the Belizean border.
