Rio Lagartos itself is gorgeous, one of my favourite places in mexico, very chilled, calm and friendly.

Very friendly hosts, who whilst not speaking much English, were very helpful and extremely accommodating. The property has a small swimming pool which we missed when booking so that was a nice surprise. The breakfast was fairly basic but perfectly good for the money we paid. They also organised our tour of the biosphere reserve for us, which was highly enjoyable.

Very comfortable, great view from the balcony. The staff is very friendly. The place is generally nice, there is a big common area with a swimming pool. The Wi-Fi was fine. Also, what doesn’t happen often in this part of Mexico, no mold detected. 😀 very clean as well.
