Hotels with Pools in Las Peñitas

Reception staff were very friendly and offered us a welcome drink. Breakfast was SUPERB! The best out of the 4 hotels we stayed in. Gorgeous location right on the beach. We had a stunning sea view room.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was friendly, and both the room and all hotel areas were spotless and well maintained. They serve an excellent espresso — the coffee beans are carefully selected, and it truly tastes amazing. The food quality was also great. If you don’t need to be directly on the beachfront, I highly recommend this place — the beach is only a two-minute walk away, and I could see the waves from my room window. The owners were often around and always nice to chat with.

If you are in Leon take the time to spend a few days at Las Peñitas at Nuevo NAYAL! It’s stunning and beautifully designed. Everything feels new! The spanish couple who set up this place are so kind and welcoming. They have created a true oasis to escape the heat of the city and I couldn’t have had a better 3 nights stay here to round off my trip in Nicaragua. The food is brilliant as well at the restaurant. I ate all my meals there as they were too good! And the staff went out of their way to help me with laundry and tours etc. It’s definitely one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Las Penitas.

Perfectly located on the sea foreshore this is a real gem. Axel and Cathy were great cooks and helped us with everything we asked. If you want a quiet, beautifully maintained seaside hotel this is the perfect place. Las Penitas is an extremely quiet village so don't stay here if you want a bustling nightlife. For people who love beaches, good cooking and tranquility it's perfect. If you get a chance, go on the excursion to see the Turtle Egg protection project, my last photo.

Great location, 2 min walk to town with all the privacy you need. The pool is AMAZING and sooo nice to have it to myself. There's a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, shower and everything you need. I feel right at home here. The best place I've ever stayed in Nicaragua for sure. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

I loved the cabin, the place, and the atmosphere. Everything was very comfortable and well-maintained. The place was clean, well-located, and had everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I really liked the hospitality, the comfort of the room, and the tranquility of the place. Everything was excellent, I would definitely come back.
