This is a small adorable property a block or so from the entrance point to the sardine run. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. There's a charming outdoor dining area close by the pool, which is beautifully landscaped. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Meals and cocktails at the restaurant were tasty, but if you need some variety, there is another restaurant about a block away. For the sardines, walk down to the main road and turn right. Across the street from the Strandhaus, there are some snorkel guides (Amazing Snorkel) who will swim with you to see the sardines for a reasonable price. The guides are worth it-- they dive down to direct the sardines towards you and will help you get great photos.

The interior is stylish, and the host was very responsive to any questions via WhatsApp. Although it’s in the countryside, rental scooters are available, allowing you to explore the beautiful nature of the Philippines while riding.
