Super nice staff. Amazing location. Very good food. The biggest apples I’ve ever seen were provided in the room as snacks. One of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. Giant room. Really liked the gym and pool.

The staff were all super nice and gave us good information about the area. We had a room with balcony. It was good to sit out on the balcony in the sun. The swimming pool area is also nice and we enjoyed a day by the pool. Breakfast was good. And we also had dinner at the hotel and it was good, mixed grill and portions were big. The location is very good. Nice touch to use the castle walls in the interior of the hotel.

Our family truly enjoyed this trip. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the kids had a great time in the indoor pool. The highlight of our stay was definitely the stunning apple orchards, which added so much charm to the experience. What made the stay special was the warm hospitality—the staff was extremely polite and humble, with Alex standing out for his exceptional service.”

Lovely house. Great winery. Fabulous wine tasting. I was greeted with full welcome. Room is very large with 2 showers. Wine and food were all good. Scenery is breathtaking.

We are a family of 5 (2 parents + 3 kids), and stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. This is a very nice hotel located in a pastoral landscape in the vineyards. Quiet, clean, friendly stuff. The pool is clean and nice. The view from the balcony is lovely. All the buildings of the property are historical and authentic.

It was in a great location amongst vineyards and apple orchards. The house was very comfortable.

it's a very nice place to stay near the Douro valley the host was very nice and helpful (we were at a hurry when we left, and felt bed we didn't had time to say goodbye) the pool is a nice touch, it's remote so you feel disconnected from the world. the beds were comfy and the shower was nice but felt old.

The outdoor facilities were amazing. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor kitchen and the host really went out their way to make us feel comfortable

Beautiful, rustic, peaceful setting with a well equipped kitchen. Multiple sitting areas inside and outside that provided plenty of space for a large group to spread out and relax. Teresa was a lovely, friendly host who was very responsive and helpful with all our questions.

We loved everything about this stay. Quiet location. Facilities incredible, the hosts were brilliant. Very accommodating and welcoming. Would not hesitate to stay again, and totally recommend it :)

Absolutely loved our stay here! The house is incredibly cozy and, most importantly, spotless. Honestly, it was even cleaner than our own home! 😄 It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you’re traveling with a small group of friends or a large family. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. They even arranged a late check-out for us, which we really appreciated. You can also buy their delicious homemade wine, both white and red. And this is not just an ordinary house — it used to be a winery, so you’re literally staying in the middle of real vineyards, surrounded by a beautiful fruit garden with apples, pears, cherries, and more. There’s also a great swimming pool, a billiard table, and so many thoughtful little details that make the stay really special. Everything is very well thought out. We highly recommend this place and would definitely love to come back!

The calm and beauty of the place, surrounded by fields full of apple trees, olive trees, etc. The facilities, fantastic pool deck, very confortable and pleasant living/playing room.
