We were enchanted by this place, the communal spaces are so peaceful and we were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves. Listening to Amalia Rodrigues by the fire will stay with us for a long time. We met lovely Maria who kindly prepared our breakfast and accommodated our timings. We also met the host Sara, and we were pleased to hear the house has been in her family for over a century - they transformed the space preserving the essence so well. A truly delightful experience.

Very helpful staff. I had to leave 2 days earlier for a meeting in Lisbon and the lady at the reception told me she would check whether I could get a refund for the 2 nights not spending at the hotel.
