An incredible property. We were just driving through so we only stayed one night, but I would love to return for longer. I think it would make a great base to explore the Douro. The room was spacious and simple. Great linens, lovely bath products. The pool is stunning with a view of the valley. Big, well-appointed fitness center. Gorgeous spa (that I didn't have time to use, sadly.) Fantastic restaurant-- we enjoyed dinner and breakfast, and both were quite good.

Absolute gem of the Douro Valley! My husband and I picked the Golden Mirror for the Douro portion of our honeymoon and we were so glad that we did! The rooms are spacious, clean and new and the view from our room was absolutely breath taking! The hosts of the hotel are so SO nice and helped us with parking every time we came back. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minute drive from Regua and about 10 minute drive to Lamego - both had good options for dining. We did two wine tastings just down the road at Quinta da Pacheco and Quinta de Tourais - both were incredible and just a couple minutes from the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a 10/10! We hope to be back some day.

Wonderful property and highly recommended. Beautiful decor, comfortable rooms and the best swimming pool! The property manager Andre was exceptionally helpful with everything we needed. We had a delightful wine tasting with the owner and the wines were the best we tried in the region (the Vivaldi music playing in the cellars must really work!).

The most beautiful vineyard Quinta we’ve ever stayed at; possibly even nicer than Tuscany. From the moment you pull in through the gates and down the most beautiful stone road you feel like you’ve died and gone to heaven. The rooms, the pool, the country breakfast on the terrace and the wine are all to die for. Walking the vineyard each morning before it gets too hot was a favorite part of our trip to Portugal. We even thought about renewing our vows in the small 18th Century Chapel. In fact, it would be a great small destination wedding place. They have 6 rooms and the chapel seats 12 with 12 loungers by the beautiful pool and 12 seats on the terrace for breakfast and lunch. Dinner can be arranged but I recommend going to two of the regions best restaurants just down the hill in the village; Aneto and Casta e Pratos. The owners are very nice and very accessible through WhatsApp anytime. And Manuela, we’ll where do I start. She’s a one woman energizer bunny that does It all and runs a tight ship. She puts out the beautiful country breakfast buffet and puts its away between guests to keep the wasps at bay. And while guest eat she waters all the lovely flowers and cleans the many nooks and crannies where you can sit at different times of the day and night. Then after breakfast she coordinates your plans for the day and when she can clean your room. After she serves you lunch and vinho Branco by the pool mid afternoon she makes sure your not wanting for anything more before she leaves for a much deserved rest. Obrigado Manuela, Rui e Lenora

This was a beautiful property. With an amazing pool and view of the valley. The accommodations were perfect with a clean apartment, AC if needed however, the cool breeze at night was enough for our family. I cannot say enough great things about the host and his son. They were in contact with me even before my arrival. They greeted us with a glass of their homemade port wine and were dedicated to making our stay as pleasant as can be. They gave us amazing dinner reservations in town. Lamego is a beautiful village with an old history yet many great dining options and is only 10 mins outside of the more tourist areas. If you are even looking at this location, please look no further and book your stay you will not regret it. The pool is big and extremely clean and well-maintained- you will feel like you are at a high end resort -there’s plenty of seating and it is not busy or over packed. It is very private and at night you can enjoy a glass of wine under the star studded sky. we will definitely be back as this was one of the best stays in Portugal during our two week visit!

everything. it is a beautiful property. even the drive up to the building is lovely. we had a two bedroom house with living room and large kitchen with a dining table. the space was old and quaint but the bathroom was modern and the house had an ac unit if you need it (we didn’t). there’s a balcony overlooking the vineyard and we sat there with the free port they gave u. the breakfast room is also lovely. there’s a cool wine museum on site. breakfast was plentiful and included home grown fruit, jam and cheese. staff were attentive. we got a goodbye gift of their own wine. totally a stellar stay!

Perfect! The receptionists are kindly, the grape farm view is good, swimming pool is good, breakfast is good, we are 3 people only but we can use whole house! 10 minutes driveway to market and restaurant. 3 dogs and 1 cat are so cute!
