This place way absolutely amazing. We only had one night and wished that we spent more time here. Our room was perfect for a family of four. We loved the breakfast and enjoyed the pool despite it being spring weather. We look forward to returning some day. Highly recommend staying here!

The property is right in the center of town and perfect location to walk to the castle. The rooms are not huge but perfectly comfortable and spotless and the hotel offers a good breakfast. Bonus: there is a large lounge with a table (we played cards in the evening) and fireplace. They started a fire for us every night! The staff are very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend.

Absolutely beautifully-appointed apartment with everything you could need. The bed was so comfortable - I don't think I've had a better one in all my travels. Air con was very effective and the bathroom/shower of a high standard. The two swimming pools on site were wonderful - one shallower and warmer, the other larger and deeper. Very peaceful at night, distant from the lights of towns, and glorious for star-gazing. Cesar and the rest of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and we were very sad to leave.

The breakfast was ok, not much variety but the essentials were there, the coffee was freshly made and very good. The quietness of the place, and the swimming pool. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was great with good water pressure and temperature.

Casa Terena is located in the old part of Terena. Our room was very quiet with views over the surrounding countryside. Super comfortable beds and well appointed en suite shower room, plenty of hot water. Excellent, delicious,very generous breakfast. Our host Altino was very cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 3 nights and wished that we could have stayed much longer. Definitely the place to stay to discover the real Alentejo. Wonderful swimming pool and garden situated about 150m away from the property

Absolutely everything - starting from the being met by the Host himself, ending with the way the towels were tied. The place, the sky full of stars at night, the pool, the breakfast, halls… so many special details that make the atmosphere!

Amazing old historical house. Everything was well preserved and maintained. Kids loved the pool, we loved the view and vibe. Despite the super hot weather rooms where nicely kept cool with A/C. Breakfast was great. Hospitality of the host is outstanding.

Quiet place in a small village deep in Alentejo, surrounded by a traditional and amazing landscape. Besides the generous breakfast with local products, the staff was always super welcoming and ready with nice recommendations. The pool has one of the most amazing views you can imagine. Everything seems to be done with love and thought through. We will definitely come back!
