Everything, the breakfast’s were out of this world. I will recommend this hotel to everyone I know. I never have experienced any hotel as beautiful as the Pestana Palacio do Freixo. If and when I ever returned to Porto, I will surely book this hotel again.

Location was great - quiet but so near everything.% My apartment was perfect - great size, well equipped with nothing missing, and super clean. The garage was totally secure (gated) which was great as I was carrying two bikes on my car. The facilities were excellent - I used sauna&steam room both nights and really enjoyed that (the gym also looked very reasonable from what I saw). I also loved and used the Bluetooth speaker in the room - a nice touch! Finally the best of all - staff. A big shout out to Jacqueline who could not have been more helpful or informative over my entire stay. Her tips were all winners, the information and advice she provided was wonderful and her welcome as warm as they come. I had a knee problem and she took the time to go through metro and bus connections with me to get exactly where I wanted. Very impressed, and very much appreciated!

We came only for 1 night and enjoyed every minute! The staff is very friendly, helping in any way, the place itself like an oasis of beauty! Very good breakfast, that you choose from a menu. You also choose the time and the place: in your room, beside the pool... We loved the family feeling that you get from that family in every aspect! Thank you!

The owners were fantastic, so accommodating and pleasant. They truly cared about the guests. Grounds were beautiful and super well maintained. Breakfast was exceptional, super fresh and great variety with a high quality. Be sure to check out the little common room and bar. Norberto makes a mean gin and tonic 😉. Would recommend and stay again without hesitation.

Everything was perfect. Fred is the best host and will do everything to make sure you're having the best time in Porto. There is a very nice atmosphere there. The facilities were honestly perfect. Porto is already a beautiful city but as a solo traveller having this place to stay really made my trip wonderful. I couldn't recommend it more!!
