The beds were too soft, lack support may need to be chsnged. Bathroom old as well, can snell the old pipes:pee fumes. Definitely need renovation. But the food resto is good. The spa ehich was probably the latest renovation was great. Love the pools, outdoor spa, bathrooms n modern gym. Big plus.

We had a nice stay here. Our rooms were upgraded to junior suites, which was a lovely surprise! The gym and spa were clean and tidy. The heated outdoor pool was great, especially since we happened to have great weather. We enjoyed the breakfast that had plenty of options.

Gyllene Hornet is a paradise for families, the pool and sauna were amazing, the kids play room and all the games available in the lobby too. Great breakfast and beautiful location.

The hotel have a lot of alternatives, from a nice swimming pool to kids playrooms and nice rooms with books and board games.
The breakfast is very well prepared with a lot of options.
The ambiance is very cozy and they serve a very good fika in the afternoon.

It’s a lovely family owned hotel with a very long history. The hotel is very cosy with lots of attention to details. We stayed in the main building and everything was easily accessible for my elderly parents. I celebrated my 60th birthday there and it was perfect with a beautiful mini suite and excellent food and wine. It’s a bit expensive but at least we felt it was worthwhile. So rare to find a good hotel that also has a good restaurant.
The outdoor heated pool was a lovely place to relax.
