Hekaya is located in a beautiful, peaceful beach location. Compared to other places we stayed in Zanzibar, we liked the vibe on the beach here the most. Just down the beach from the Rock and lots of nice restaurants up and down the beach. The water is clear and blue without sea urchins. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We especially loved being able to take our meals on our sunny, private balcony free of charge. This holiday home is an absolut recommendation for visitors to Zanzibar, whether looking for peace or as a starting point for active exploration of the island. The house is located directly on the wonderful Michamvi beach within sight of the Rock Restaurant and just a few kilometers from Jozani National Park. It offers several bedrooms and wonderfully designed lounges with all the necessary equipment. The garden with the pool belonging to the house is beautifully landscaped and also offers numerous opportunities for relaxation - always with an overwhelming sea view. But the best thing was the friendly staff, who gave us a warm welcome and were always there to help and advise us. The included breakfast was rich and tasty and the additional dinner was also great. We would like to thank our friendly hosts for the excellent care.

Quiet place. Not far from rock restaurant. Good rooms .good chef .nice people. But the water was only hard water and needed to be purified well. Side that. Everything was excellent

A very good hotel for anyone who like solitude and own time. Beaches are not crowded, location is exotic and near to rock restaurant. Staff were very supportive and friendly.

It is a beautiful place with enough privacy and some charming details. The pools were great. The breakfast at the neighbouring restaurant was very nice with a good variety.

We were very happy , very good location , calm beach ( no beach boys which can ruined your relax), the appartment was top notch and clean. Also personel was very friendly and helpful. You will also find one of the best food in neighbour restaurant - "Wishing Tree" and perhaps their best octopus served in whole Zanzibar (coocking by Italians). If You looking accommodation in this area I can tell You that You found the right place here.... Special thanks and greetings come to Elena , amazing woman !

Everything was perfect, not too crowded and the staff was friendly.

We really felt at home at the Hotel Mia Boutique. From the warm welcome when we arrived late at night to the emotional farewell on our day of departure. The entire staff was extremely friendly throughout the days and always ready to help with anything. Whether breakfast or dinner, everything was excellent. The rooms are as in the pictures, the bathroom is kept simple as a large wet room. The Airconditioning worked perfectly, rooms were cleaned every day and also sprayed with mosquito repellent. The transportation service from the airport also worked perfectly. There was nothing that bothered us. A big thank you to all the staff for a great time. We hope to visit you again soon.

We were warmly received by Ms Supati, and she and her staff were most kind, friendly and helpful to us. My wife had an injured leg, and she was offered transport by comfortable golf cars across the hotel area when she needed it. The water in the pool seems to be seawater that is replaced every day, which we did not see before in Zanzibar. The food is splendid and varied, and we enjoyed the Swahili dinners! One of a kind even in Zanzibar is that you may snorkel straight from the hotel!

We’ve stayed at Baladin for 3 incridible nights, I loved so much the whole experience. The food is amazing, the beach is awesome, It was a great experience!

Well appointed rooms. A great place for relaxation with only 4 rooms and 1 villa. Incredible butler service. Couldn’t do enough for us.
