South AfricaAlthough I booked to stay at Mieliefontein there was work being done on the property so they booked me at another property that they own called Khoisan Karoo. What a lovely place! Although the gardens are not as well manicured, it is by the side of the river and the log cabin they had me in was exceptional. The food must say was beyond exceptional. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the frozen meat pies on offer were the best I have tasted for a member of years. All meat and very little gravy.

It was beautifully decorated and clean. A nice pool area outside for the kids and having a bar and restaurant inside is really convenient. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

An oasis in the middle of Hanover! We are always warmly greeted by staff and check in is a breeze.
Nothing better than having an ice cold drink next to the pool after a full day of driving.
The bedrooms are spacious and the bed super comfy.

Pink palace in the desert, we loved it. Beautifully renovated, art deco deluxe and clever eye-catching pieces at every step. Loved the high beds,linens, and big shower. The restaurant served a delicious dinner that is very cleverly pre-ordered via whatsapp. The staff are top rate, thrilled to host and the bar cozy and vibey. Lovely pool off the terrace for those hot days and super thick white towels. Well done, Kyle and team. Thanks, Marinda and Dorette, for all the communication.

Amazing oasis for us to stay over on our way to Cape Town. This hotel is spectacular with clean and comfortable rooms and a beautiful pool to rest next to after a long drive. The staff are super helpful and Luther the Chef made the best Skaapstert that I have ever tasted :)

A true oasis (huge willow trees and swimming pool) in the middle of the Karoo! Safe off street parking. Beautiful interior. Amazing food in the restaurant. Staff are all very helpful and clearly very proud working at this establishment. We'll be back, especially to taste the other items on the restaurant menu!

Comfy, plush and quirky hotel, with each room having a unique feel. Very helpful friendly staff and excellent evening meals available. The hotel is quiet and easily located off the N1 in the town. We did not stay for breakfast as we were under time pressure, but it looked excellent. Secure parking. Lovely undercover patio and spacious private garden with pool for summer travellers. Great bar and separate dining room.
