Hotels with Pools in Simondium

Beautiful estate, kind and helpful people, relaxing vibe. Bikes availability and space to cycle was great.

Our stay at Simondium’s Country Lodge was truly delightful. The lodge is a treasure trove of antiques and vintage pieces, each corner brimming with charm and character—it felt like stepping into a living museum with a cozy, welcoming soul. Our room was spacious, snug, and supremely comfortable, though a hairdryer would have been a small but welcome addition. What truly set our experience apart was the warmth of the owner and the staff. Andrew, in particular, went above and beyond to attend to our every need with genuine kindness. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—a sumptuous feast with a vast assortment of delicious options, served in a beautifully decorated dining room that radiated calm and elegance. Every moment at the lodge felt special, and we can’t wait for the day we can return. Simondium’s Country Lodge isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience to savor.

The room was huge, extremely comfortable bed. Great turn down service. Choice of two pools and two restaurants and very secure location

The property and especially the cottage 14 was absolutely fabulous. Loved everything at the cottage: the surroundings, the view, the fireplace. The cottage was beautifully decorated. Didn't get time to enjoy the swimming pool and the huge outside fireplace.

Staff was very helpful and welcoming

Beautiful property and spacious suite with a proper little garden. Everything was clean, friendly staff and calm setting. The pool area is also very nice. Close to Franschhoek to explore near wineries.

Right on the Wemmershoek riverbank, the tranquil sounds of the river make for a very peaceful vibe.

Great location and amenities in the room were great. Beautiful grounds and property. Very comfortable beds. Delicious breakfast.

Beautiful manor style house with spacious rooms/apartments. Stunning grounds to walk around.

Amazing lodge with exceptional host. Loved the location, the facilities and the comfort it provided. Spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful host.

Our couples weekend getaway at LEO Sky Farm was absolutely amazing. The cottages were spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kol kol hot tub was definitely a highlight, such a special experience while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The views are breathtaking, and the farm itself is beautiful and so tranquil. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better.

Exceptional accomodation, great views!

Angala is a hidden gem. This was our second time staying & I think it’ll become an annual treat. We had an incredible dinner, Troye looked after us so well. Just perfect. The rooms are divine, beds so comfy you never want to leave. The views, gardens, pools & setting are just dreamy.

We loved our stay here, would've stayed longer if our plans aligned. Everything was absolutely perfect and beyond. The only recommendation I would make is to have more vegan friendly options in their menus. We are definitely coming back!
