We arrived after a long 14 hour drive and were greeted by a very friendly reception, a beautiful and comfortable room, and a delicious buffet dinner. The location is absolutely stunning and we felt very relaxed and happy during our stay. We only had one night here and wished we could stay longer.

I loved the staff. Everyone so friendly and helpful. The location was "in the middle of everything". Breakfast was excellent! Sitting outside around the fire was so special.

Beautiful rooms, wonderful, friendly and social staff and amazing facilities. The restaurant was ok — quite basic food and it took a while to arrive, but very affordable prices. The staff had amazing local knowledge and always tried to help with tips and bookings, the owner tipped us about some beautiful and untouched hikes which we were so happy to experience. The stay was beyond expectation. Great value for money. 10/10 would recommend.

The garden and the swimming pool.

After a day of trail running in the nearby national park we thoroughly enjoyed a restful and peaceful evening and morning at Swallow's Nest. The outdoor landscape and gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed reading on the patio. The shower was powerful, the bed was comfortable, and the cottage had everything we needed for a great stay. I highly recommend staying here!

Desiree was really amazing. She helped us with everything and also booked an activity for us. Lunch and dinner were very good and at a good price, but you have to wait a lot if there are other guests Position optimal for black water tubing, suspension bridge and zip line They offer water and coffee

The massage lounge. It was the best massage I have ever had. Will definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was excellent. Catered for all tastes, and was delicious!

The massage was great, food was perfect, don’t need to do reservation, enough place for everyone. Hot tube was amazing, we took hit bath after sunset, sound of waterfall nearby!!!! Very relaxing, good sleep after.

The staff were absolutely amazing . When we got there , our booking was not on the system. The staff , particularly Tisha , Marianna, and Lene (there were more but we didn’t get their names) were unbelievably friendly and went out of their way to help us. The stay was a dream thanks to the friendly staff . The place is beautiful with an amazing view. The 4wheelers were worth it too !

It sounds like a cliche but it was home away from home. Jan and Antoinette is two warm hearted people and we sat and chat by the pool in the afternoon until late. Breakfast was great! Will visit them again

Our recent stay at Tsitsikamma Village Inn was nothing short of magical — a perfect blend of historic charm, natural beauty, and warm, welcoming service that made us feel instantly at home. The Inn is laid out like a quaint little village, with each room designed in a unique architectural style reflecting South Africa’s colonial past. Our room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and full of character, making it feel like we’d stepped into another era — but with all the modern comforts you'd hope for. Breakfast was a real treat. The options were plentiful — from fresh fruit and pastries to hearty cooked dishes and the best coffee we had on the Garden Route. Sitting out in the peaceful garden as the village woke up was the perfect way to start each day. One of the true highlights of our stay was dinner at Marilyn’s 60s Diner. The retro décor — with bright neon lights, vintage cars and motorcycles, and a soundtrack of 60s hits — was so fun and unexpected. But what made the evening truly special was Rosy, our server. She was absolutely exceptional — warm, attentive, and full of personality. She made us feel like VIPs, recommending the best dishes (the ribs were out of this world!) and making sure every detail was perfect. Rosy brought such energy and joy to the experience that we won’t soon forget her! The location is ideal for exploring the Tsitsikamma National Park with its iconic suspension bridge, ancient forests, and incredible hiking trails. The staff at the Inn were more than happy to help with directions, activity bookings, and personal recommendations. What sets Tsitsikamma Village Inn apart is how it combines nostalgia and character with genuine, heartfelt hospitality. It doesn’t just offer a place to sleep — it offers a story, an atmosphere, and a connection to the people and culture of the area. Five stars without a doubt — and a huge thank you to Rosy and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

Friendly, welcoming, comfortable spacious room. Situated next to the Storms River bridge and only a short drive from the charming Storms River village. The hosts have a sizeable garden and even shared some home grown produce. It was like staying a a very good friend’s home and I extend a day as it was difficult to leave.

Amazing experience stayed in the Hive, overlooking the sea fantastic. Vibe around the surrounding grounds of the restaurant was very good.

Warm and welcoming hosts! Lovely grounds and clean rooms. The breakfast was quite tasty and served outside on the patio. The inn was a bit farther of a walk to village restaurants than I had realized, but not far and still easily doable. The inn has a separate bar, and if you're lucky, it will be a night when the locals come in to socialize and have fun!

We loved our stay in the Sunset Hive. The entire reserve is incredibly beautiful, with stunning ocean views, amazing sunsets, and a wonderful pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hive had a lovely outdoor shower, a hot tub, and a relaxing hammock area. The sunsets from the Hive were breathtaking. We had a clear sky on the first night, and the stargazing from the Hive was out of this world. We can highly recommend this place if you’re planning to visit Tsitsikamma National Park.

Staying in the dome is a great experience! Outdoor shower (indoor one is available as well), hot tub, morning coffee with a view. Everything is comfortable. No issues with water, electricity or internet and all that comfort literally in the middle of nature! SPA was amazing! And they open up early (8AM) so we had a chance to get there twice in a one night stay! Easy check in and very friendly team on site! Love it! Highly recommended for couples!!

The ocean view was stunning. The sheets were so clean and soft. The outdoor bathtub experience was excellent and the kitchen well stocked with essentials. Staff was very friendly. You get privacy as well. We also got our own golf cart to use which was fun.

Place is stunning, and staff and Ocean Dome were exceptional. Reception lady was very helpful and kind.

The sleeping area inside the cacoon is stable enough to have a good night's rest whilst still feeling that you are sleeping in a tree house. The hanging net between the leaves was our favorite area to relax and take it all in! Can't fault any of the facilties including the restuarant and bar
