Scalaria Sunset Wing features an indoor pool and a 24-hour front desk in St.Wolfgang. This resort positioned directly on the lake was so beautiful that, upon arrival, my husband immediately stated that he wanted to stay for a week rather than the long weekend scheduled. There was a parking lot directly across from the hotel which made our arrival easy. We booked two rooms for our family of four and they were both spacious and very clean (and the hotel honored our request for them to be near one another). It was very warm during our stay and the in-room AC worked well and quietly. The offerings at breakfast were extensive and delicious, and we were able to enjoy our food on the terrace with a breathtaking view. The "beach" area was well designed with plenty of lounge chairs and lots of space to enjoy the lake. The food at the bar was actually delicious (especially the sweet potato fries) and the staff was both friendly and accommodating. For those who are looking for water sports, there are rental places very close by, but just swimming in the lake was lovely. On our final night, there was an airshow that was really a special treat. Scalaria Sunset Wing provided our family with an unforgettable vacation.

Located amidst a sunny and quiet green space, Hotel Hollweger offers beautiful views of St. Gilgen, the mountains, and Lake Wolfgang. We felt like we were on a movie set! Everything was picture-perfect including the rooms, the walks around the hotel, the walks into town, and the terrace for breakfast. We were greeted by one of the owners who spoke great English and was very welcoming. We were given a personal tour and were walked to our room. We had special requests that were met with smiles. We would love to visit here again!

One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the pool. It was sparkling clean and surrounded by comfortable loungers, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. If you’re looking for a perfect escape that combines relaxation and natural beauty, this apartment is the ideal choice. I can’t wait to return!

Beautiful location with stunning views, only a 10 minute walk into town on a lovely path The owner was excellent and very hospitable. The staff were almost all fantastic. Love the pool and spa area, it was well used during our stay. Grounds were beautifully kept Breakfast was plentiful.
