The property is set in a stunning area. Whilst Switzerland in general is extremely picturesque, you cannot beat the views which are on your door stop. You are set on Lake Zug with views of the surrounding mountains. Whilst slightly off the beaten track it is easy accessible with the train station a short 5 minute walk away with good connections. Not that you’d know because you don’t hear the trains! You can swim in the pool or take a swim in the lake or even better… paddle boarding! The outdoor area is well decorated with the sun setting down throughout the day. The property itself is designed for couples but is well designed, clean and modern. The host is happy to be contacted throughout the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again despite being on the pricier side which I think is currently a fair value.

Set in Oberägeri, Hotel Ländli offers direct lake access on the shores of the Ägerisee glacial lake. It features a spa and wellness centre, an indoor pool, and free WiFi in public areas. I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel room. It was spacious and nicely decorated, with a large table and excellent lighting. The view of the lake was stunning. The bathroom was great, especially the shower, and I appreciated the electric window blind. The window curtains also added a nice touch. In addition, the hotel had a wonderful spa area and pool. The surroundings were beautiful. The door keys and lock were user-friendly and secure. Lastly, the breakfast was excellent.

The City Garden Hotel is situated next to a green park, within walking distance from the commercial districts and only 3 minutes from the city centre of Zug. I liked the location, I loved how comfortable the room was and the amenities. The staff were very helpful. Nice little town, the station was closeby, which I wish I had known before traveling.
