The location is 5 min. drive from the town center, but we had a rented car so we didn't mind (the views with the town and the city are priceless). Space to park the car next to your lodge. Welcoming athmosphere (pleasant smell inside, warm, nicely designed). Good wifi. Welcoming staff. Highly recommend!

Each and every member of staff were friendly and helpful. An unforgettable stay.

Located in Punta Arenas, one of the most southernly points in Chile, Hotel Diego de Almagro offers accommodations on the coast of the Magellan Strait. Great price and location. The most family friendly place we stayed at during our Chile trip - right down to the heated pool - WITH KID TOYS (pool floaties, noodles!). Best continental breakfast. Great WIFI. Able to have an hour long phone call sorting out flight issues. Staff are fluent in English and very helpful. Very helpful to have restaurant on site with accommodating hours.
