We spent a whole week there and didn’t want to leave. The place is beautiful and well kept up. The pool was refreshing, with comfortable loungers. Judith, the cook and housekeeper provided excellent service and delicious food and cocktails. We had the big room on the second floor with the spacious private deck and loungers.

SABAI Beach Hotel features 200 metres of private white sand beach and free WiFi access in public areas. It is located in Barú Peninsula (an island), 20 minutes’ drive from Barbacoas Bay. - paradise just within natural beauty; we liked the mix of a modern and new set up in a natural scene - hotel is pretty new and - honestly - the pictures says it all, but seeing it live is just 10 times better - hotel is located on a private (!) beach, which is SO nice. It gives you 100% Caribbean feeling. Beach is clean and water is nice to swim in - room is big, nice and very clean - very good variety of food (could have more vegetarian options), nice quality - stuff is extremely friendly and helpful - overall: a really nice and romantic set up (even to propose, wedding venue, or else) for couples or a bunch of friends / family; if you need some time off to relax and enjoy yourself: definitely THE place to be - I couldn‘t think of a better place to stay after a few weeks of traveling around. Casa Cordoba Baru provides a public bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Baru. Everything was perfect - especially the food.

Boasting a splendid beachfront location inside Rosario Islands National Park, the hotel is a 1-hour boat trip from Cartagena. Wonderful facility with great saltwater swiming pool. Perfect place to relax with children; not all places on the island are suitable for young kids and this is an exception, we had a 7-year old and it was wonderful. You have access to the pool and the beach. Exceptionally good food and service; we thought the food selection was amazing. We appreciated how simple they made the transport, including picking us up from our accommodation in Cartagena and organizing everything for the boat ride that is included in the price of the hotel. Organize staff keeps the place very clean.
