We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohotel Alma We can look back on a fantastic time in the beautiful “Alma Resort” with its beautifully landscaped garden and a wonderful family who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay a wonderful experience. -Very friendly and attentive staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms) -The beds are very comfortable - we slept so well -We really liked the bathroom w/outdoor shower -the location is very quiet (despite the nearby street) -very good breakfast, great coffee, everything fresh (partly. from own garden or surrounding area) -Simple menu for dinner – but very tasty (preferably fish in aluminum foil ;-) -located in a lovely, safe area in the countryside -There are also other restaurants nearby (take a taxi) -a very fair price-performance ratio -Wifi worked perfectly -We even managed to reach Alma by public bus and taxi for the last mile** **We are grateful that we found EcoHotel Alma. They also helped us to organise a visit at Finca Don Leo (organic coffee farm) and at nearby botanical garden with a Columbian's biggest palm collection and a papiliorama (butterfly house). I was able to stay with my 2 big dogs(Gran Dane and labrador) without extra charge and no issues at all, the apartment has hot water, well located, good furniture and free parking. Over all was pretty awesome!

Daily cleaning and fresh towels , good mattresses and the homemade burgers all get top marks. The outside pool was great, along with the hammocks, sound system to play your own music, flexible meal times and a handy laundry service all providing comfort. Meals included sancocho, huevos revueltos, limonada among others. Juan Jose and Claudia went to great lengths to help us arrange transport around the area and fill all requests. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly.

We had the cabin which has a balcony with a spectacular view over the coffee plantation where we watched many different types of birds. The cabin was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Our best accommodation in Colombia. The location is quiet and peaceful and stunning with a beautiful swimming pool. The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. There really is a positive vibe there. The common room has lots of games and activities- we even painted. Yoga in the morning was a great start to the day. Would recommend it 100%.
