Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The location is perfect and the hotel offers a spacious room with a comfortable bathroom and a lot of shelf space. The setting is very private with a large covered deck overlooking a manicured grounds. We even watched many times an armadillo busy searching for food a meter away from us. A beautiful swimming pool and a hot tub was a nice addition and the self-serve bar with coffee and tea provided us with some refreshments. There is also a pool table and table tennis for the rainy days. A very affordable Soda el Turnito is just across the road for a delicious meal. Elizabeth from the reception showed us a beautiful garden in the back of the property. She is very caring and funny! All in all, we had a very relaxing time here and can whole heartedly recommend to others.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 6 km from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. Iliked almost everything: location, facilities, room, pools etc. The only thing I would recommend is to give more options in breakfast. lack of vegetables and other healthy options was the only thing I didn’t like in this hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Fortuna Retreat. The rooms have a great view of the Arenal Volcano and are very clean, spacious, and super comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay and truly made us feel at home. We booked a few tours directly with them, with convenient pick-up and drop-off at the hotel. Breakfast is included at a restaurant just a 5-minute walk away, and as a bonus, the area is great for birdwatching. Highly recommend!
