The property nestled in this beautiful forest near the falls. Frtiz and his wife are very friendly and gave us local recommendation. They had welcome drinks a s breakfast was delicious. The overall setting of the rooms were great. AC worked fine which is super important in humid climate. The rooms had distinct fragrance of euclyptus. I thought that was a good touch. Hot water also worked fine. Highly recommend.

Et cerise sur le gâteau, nous avons pu rester dans l’hôtel durant la journée en attendant notre vol du soir.

This is my second time staying in this unit. With it's great location I had no need for a car. There are numerous great restaurants in easy walking distance and Uber is available in minutes at all times. The unit is extremely well organized and secure. It has everything I needed including a clothes washer and dryer. To top it off, the owners are very nice and available with a phone call.

You can even wash and dry your clothes while you’re there. It is also only 5 kilometers from the hotels that are pick up points for many of the tours that go to the Arenal volcano. The owner is very responsive and accommodating.

Amazing views all around, a lovely, well-kept garden. A sense of peace and tranquility. The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants and one supermarket. Our cabin was clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. We were also provided with coffee and sugar for the room. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was kind and helped us with every request. Breakfast on the balcony with the birds chirping around was delicious. We recommend the stay and we would be happy to return.

Very comfortable room (superior suite upstairs) with great view over the canyon. Pool and hot tub were the perfect place to relax before our flight back to the UK. Loved the help yourself coffee and honesty bar. Tasty breakfast.

Set in a residential area, next to Costa Rica Country Club, Apartotel & Suites Villas del Rio features 2 outdoor pools, a hot tub and gym. A free airport shuttle service is offered. Great spacious apartments and pool facilities. Breakfast was great too!
