The rooms are modern, clean with a nice view (balcony, mountain-facing room). The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was reasonable.

The family-run Parkhotel Sonnenhof offers Alpine-style rooms, a well-equipped spa area and a daily breakfast buffet. It is located in Oberammergau, just 20 km from the Austrian border. I stayed in hotel with my family. We got a big room on upper floor with large double bed and sofa-bed for two kids. The room was clean and spatious with nice view towards the centre of Oberammergau. Kids enjoyed swimming pool and pancakes for breakfast!

This hotel in the Ettal monastery is a cosy base for active and relaxing holidays in the heart of the Ammergau Alps. The young women at the reception is so kind and sweet. The breakfast is super. The room is clean, the view is pretty. I would definitely love to stay again :)

Surrounded by the Ammergau Alps in Upper Bavaria and just 300 metres from the Soier See lake, this hotel offers a large spa, 2 restaurants and country-style rooms with natural wood furniture. This is a lovely hotel that has been through an unbelievably bad time because of the freak hail storm that caused so much damage just 3 weeks before our arrival. In those circumstances, the comfort and the friendliness and helpfulness of staff was outstanding.

This hotel with sauna lies a 5-minute walk from Oberammergau town centre. It offers modern rooms in an Alpine style, free WiFi internet and free parking. The service was excellent. The person assisting us during our check-in was very efficient and understood our reason for the delay and quickly completed the procedure. All the staffs we interacted with at the hotel were very courteous and helpful. We forgot to adjust our clocks for day light savings and almost missed our breakfast, but the host kindly reminded us and waited till we finished our breakfast. I can only recommend this place and we will definitely stay here again.

This 4-star Superior spa hotel is located in the idyllic heart of Bad Kohlgrub, surrounded by the imposing backdrop of the Ammergau Alps. Good service, the hotel offers a lot. The staff were very kind and always there for you. I can recommend to everyone!

I booked this place last minute because we needed a place for 3 persons instead of 4 as our oldest cancelled out of this part of the trip. The place was adorable and suited our needs perfectly! Master bedroom was fabulous and then there was a single bed in the living room area for our teenager. Loved the coffee in the kitchen. We had some questions about the washing machine so I called and received wonderful help. Great place to stay while we attended the Passionspiele and toured the castles.
