All I can say is that from the minute we arrived (before even entering the hotel) we were greeted with enthusiasm and positivity. This did not change throughout our stay. From the concierge, front desk staff, hotel porter, every single person made it a very comfortable experience. I locked my key in the room - Not an issue, the concierge made a new one within minutes so I wouldn't have to wait. I needed some documents printed out - No issue, front desk staff had it done in seconds. All this was done with a smile on their faces, and not a fake one either. Everyone seemed genuinely pleased to see us every time we walked passed them in the foyer or even the cleaning staff in the hallway.

Located on Spain's Valencian coast, Hotel Barú is a beachfront property offering an outdoor pool and stunning views of Almardá Beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Great location and wonderful staff. Facilities were good and our room had its own private deck with pool overlooking the main pool. Breakfast was plentiful and good. In particular the orange juice, freshly squeezed in front of you, was the best I have ever had.
