Doté d'un spa et d'un bain de source chaude, le Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena est situé à Valbuena de Duero. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Staff was great. Spa was perfect and monastery is gorgeous. The room was confortable with a bathtube and a large shower. It is was absolutely quiet at night and very dark so we could sleep in. The sidewalk by the river and the vineyard is smooth and nice. The bistro "gastrobar" is the best option

El hotel Castilla Termal Olmedo está situado en un convento reformado del siglo XII, se encuentra a 40 km de Valladolid y utiliza aguas minerales termales en su complejo de spa. Really relaxed but elegant and beautiful. The rooms are quiet and lovely. The robes and slippers were so nice. The staff were very welcoming and excellent.

Stayed while travelling from Algarve to Bilbao. Would definitely stay again. The kids loved the split level bedroom as well as the scrambled egg and bacon for breakfast. And our dog got on great with Lola (the owners dog).

Maria José, our host, went above and beyond with her warm hospitality, generously sharing her time and local recommendations. Her homemade pastries at breakfast were simply delicious—a special touch that made each morning something to look forward to. The location is ideal, nestled in a charming town alongside a natural preserve bordering the River Duero. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the excellent hiking opportunities, while families will find plenty to enjoy. We were pleasantly surprised to discover fine dining options nearby, and the proximity to Toro—just a 15-minute drive away—makes this a perfectly positioned base for exploring the region (and its wines). Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, authentic Spanish countryside experience with all the comforts of home.
