The rooms were stunning and comfortable We had booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for an extra The property is in a very quiet little village that is centrally located for exploring a range of areas… La Rochelle, Cognac, Bordeaux etc. Janice and Jesmond are excellent hosts and couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. We also opted to have dinner there every evening… what a treat. Read the other reviews also.. all true Thank you so much for your caring, time and company. This is true 5 star hotel, the design of the place is unique. Attention to children is kind. They had small bath robes, slippers and color pencils ready for my children when we arrived. Every evening they make up your bedroom ready for the night rest. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. Chris and Tracey were amazing, they contacted me before my stay to say local restaurants were closed on Mondays and would I like a meal and small dessert for a minimal fee which I jumped at the chance of. the meal was amazing and Chris and Tracey were really friendly and happy to chat about the house and how long they had been in France. Room was huge with a great big bathroom too! I had a fantastic nights sleep - everything was perfect
