It was beautifully clean and spelt lovley and fresh. There was so many hidden extras like computer consoles and loads of dvds which my children really appreciated. There was even Easter surprises which were a lovley treat and also a welcome tray which mummy really did need a coffee when I arrived. Overall the bed were comfortable and just a wonderful find . Also a lovley view of cows in the field

Highly recommend Salmestone Grange. Beautiful place to stay, attention to the tiniest detail. You can feel the love that the owners have put into the whole building. The rooms are tastefully decorated. Everything feels luxurious. All wallpaper, bedlinnen, towels, showergel - everything is beautiful. The bed is comfortable, the room spacious, the bathroom well equiped with a good shower. There is a shared area where you can make yourself tea and coffee as much as you like - biscuits provided and any type of milk you prefer. Breakfast is really good. Lovely sourdough bread, fresh fruit, nice yoghurts and jams and cooked breakfast included - choose any and all you like. The owners are really nice and hardworking people who make time for a chat. I am absolutely going back!

We felt relaxed here from the moment we arrived. The heated blankets and heaters in the cabin really helped us to feel snuggly at night. So clean and well looked after. We loved seeing the chickens running around outside the cabin, and even coming up to the door to say hello. The cats were so friendly, and the hosts super welcoming.

Very clean and new, good shower, well stocked both with basic supplies and little extras like fresh fruit and cake, well stocked with utilities, friendly local info available. Good shutters cut out some light. Lovely faint organ music from the nearby church on Sunday (not too loud though, very faint and pleasant).
