Glencree ligger i vackra omgivningar i Lakeland, med utsikt över en idyllisk bäck, mellan byarna Bowness och Windermere. The room was spacious and had a very good view of a small stream. The amenities were excellent. The bathroom fittings are exceptional and modern which are not a common sighting in Europe. The place is at walking distance from the railway station and the main market area. The host, Ian, is very friendly.

Beautiful location, really cute kitchen, spacious bedroom, lovely modern bathroom. Would definitely recommend. Spa isn't on site but only 5 mins drive away. Great pool and sauna.

A very warm welcome into a stunning period building. Ample parking right outside. Very spacious room, with comfortable bed and sofa. The bathroom is also spacious and well equipped with a bath and separate shower. The toiletries were lovely. A good sized mini fridge was a bonus, alongside a good TV. The pre order breakfast option delivered to your room worked great, especially travelling with our dog! Hotel very walkable to local pubs and eateries. Would recommend for a stay in Ambleside.

Dating back to 1854, the award-winning Holly Lodge Guest House with FREE off site health club is quietly situated in the center of Windermere. The lounge area was used a lot as our family got together and had wine and nibbles and played games. The bedrooms were beautiful. Bonnie was helpful and friendly. Location was great. Breakfast was good.
