Very very friendly staff, excellent menucard and food including the breakfast, we will certainly come back later this year for a multiple day stay iso one day this time just to relax and have a mental reset. Also the facilities (pool, sauna etc. were top. Finally a hotel, restaurant, staff and surroundings that are totally different in a positive mannor compared to the many hotels we stayed in the last few years ! Compliments to all !

The renovation work to this cottage is outstanding. Very cosy and great if you wanted to stay in and not go anywhere for a couple of days. Perfect retreat to get away from busy life and step into nature however Sligo town and strandhill are only max 30 mins drive away with fantastic options for food and walks etc.. The sauna and plunge pool are amazing with the little waterfall. Very easy to use. We especially enjoyed the little cat that visited us every day during our stay, he was a great companion for a coffee in the morning listening to the birds and was never too far away for a cuddle. We cannot recommend this cottage enough, it was such a relaxing experience where we felt we really got to spend quality time together and forget about our busy lives. We will be returning again.

The staff were extremely friendly and more than happy to assist us with any questions or needs we had. The hotel, rooms and facilities were gorgeous and contributed to an amazing experience. The hotel is also only five minutes walking distance to a lot of great pubs and areas in Galway. Would strongly recommend for couples looking for a getaway. We also got the room on a discounted rate which made it completely worth the money spent.

Claregalway Hotel is situated just outside of Galway in Claregalway village. It has a restaurant, a leisure centre with a gym and pool, and spacious air-conditioned rooms.
