Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. This hotel was a very nice surprise. Our room was exceptional - a very spacious, luxurious room with four different areas. The entry way to our room as well as the furnishings in the room were beautiful. It was a great place to relax. The view from our windows was magnificent! Our dinner was very delicious and filling. The breakfast was also very good. The hot sand bath - sunamushi sakaba - was a new, great experience for us. The onsen area is very large and clean, a nice place to soak after a long day. If you go, enjoy the bar located by the onsen - it's free to hotel guests and the bartender was very kind.

The stay at Sankara leveled up our trip to Japan significantly. A great location, a great place to relax and a great place to swim with sea turtles. We saw four sea turtles snorkling at the beach in front of the accommodation. Featuring 3-star accommodation, The Pulse Kirishima- Opening in 16th Aug 2025 is situated in Kirishima, 6.7 km from Ebino Plateau and 10 km from Kirishima Jingu Shrine. Beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated, large rooms, large and comfortable beds, very clean, excellent breakfast with a large selection, lovely staff. The hotel is at a 5-star level, highly recommended.
