The owner is extremely nice and helpful. He knows a lot about the area, all the hidden gems and whatnot. Room is flawless. Private chef was very nice. Location isn't bad, especially if you're flying into Shimojishima Airport. I'll be back.

Miyakojima Kurima Resort Seawood Hotel tiene una alberca al aire libre por temporada, gimnasio, un jardín y terraza en Isla Miyako. Tuvimos un problema al reservar la habitación, nos confundimos de tipo de habitaciones ya que íbamos de luna de miel, les comentamos si había posibilidad de hacer cambio a una villa privada pagando la diferencia y el hotel nos la ofreció sin coste. Os lo agradezco de corazón. Recomiendo a todo el mundo si tiene unos días de estar en Japon libres venir a desconectar en este resort. Tiene unas vistas increíbles, a parte de piscina privada en las villas tiene tambien una playa espectacular. Los trabajadores del hotel son muy amables y serviciales. El restaurante Japonés que hay en el resort fue el que más nos gustó. Han sido unos días increíbles, ojalá podamos volver a venir en algun otro momento de nuestra vida.

Situado en Isla Miyako, a 5 minutos a pie de Shigira Beach, Hotel Shigira Mirage cuenta con hospedaje con un jardín, estacionamiento privado de cortesía, una terraza y un restaurante. I enjoyed staying at Shigira, the service was great, the room condition was perfect. All the staffs were so kind, especially the English staff(so sorry that I forgot the name) helped us book dinners for the whole stay and upgrade our room to ocean view. I would definitely choose Shigira for my next stay. Thanks a lot!

This is the place you are dreaming of! We were looking for something special to end our honeymoon trip to Japan. Miyako island is an incredible place, and the rescape makes it even better.  This is not the typical resort with enormous buildings over the sea. The rescape is literally immersed in nature without ruining it.  We stayed in the comfort cottage, a huge room with a private swimming pool. Everything was just perfect: pool, beds, shower, bath tub, breakfast (both "western" and Japanese, served on alternating days). The shabu shabu dinner served to the room was delicious, totally worth it! I appreciated their care for the environment. Also, the staff is so kind and discreet: they will give you all the privacy you need but they're always ready to help you.

Ken’s house is so beautiful, modern, clean and so much space! Such a luxurious bathtub and bathroom. This place has everything you need incl handy laundry facilities, amazing kitchen and equipment to cook your own meals, and complimentary drinks in the fridge. We loved the little pool. It was warm enough in late May to swim at night looking up at the stars. The quiet residential neighbourhood is nice for a change from the Hirara area. It’s not far to drive to main area. There are 3 restaurants within 3min drive, or about 10min walk. Neighbour across the road was lovely. Cute cats roam the street.

Everything! The private pool & luxurious house is just the perfect place for vacation! They were very easy to communicate with and very professional. Our 5 year old is much more excited to this place than the beach! We loved it so much! We will book it again when we go back to Miyakojima! Family friendly and worth the price!!! 🤍🤍🤍

The accommodation is incredible. The pool is such an amazing feature but it’s not the only one. The bathroom is one you could spend hours in. The high end features all around the place are fantastic. The staff are also fantastic. We waited too late to get dinner and there were no cabs willing to come get us, so the manager, who spoke fairly good English, drove us to a local Izakaya she recommended in her personal vehicle. She then helped translate the menu and even arranged a special birthday breakfast for us the next morning to celebrate my partner’s birthday. It was way over and above anything we expected and I wish we could have stayed longer.
