We stayed at Ttunu House in January 2025, and it was simply incredible! The house is beautiful, lovingly restored, and tastefully furnished. There is truly not a single thing to complain about! The Ttunu House team—Cornelius, Stephen, and Jackson—did everything to make our stay perfect and unforgettable. Stephen cooks whatever guests desire, with only the cost of groceries charged, while the service itself is included. Upon request, we had the best tuna steaks of our lives, served with grilled vegetables and Kachumbari (a Kenyan tomato salad). For those looking for an extraordinary vacation far from tourist hotspots but without sacrificing luxury, Ttunu House is the perfect choice! We would love to come back.

Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa ligger i Shela med bjergudsigt. Her er en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og et fælles opholdsområde. Der er også gratis wi-fi. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

Andavelo House ligger i Lamu og har udsigt til byen, restaurant, gratis shuttletransport, bar, have, udendørs pool (der er åben hele året) og terrasse. We were picked from the airport by Safari which was extremely helpful, otherwise we would have never found the accommodation :D We were very much welcomed with some wet towers and coconut water, great after a flight on a warm weather. Everyone was extremely nice and I loved the culture of the house, we needed to wash some cloths and no money was asked, they gave us lot of recommendations and the best part: even with a short notice asking for dinner in the accommodation for that night, we had the best meal in Kenya and the best fish ever!! Please reserve at least one meal there!

It has everything one needs for a perfect holiday; provides a quiet and peaceful backdrop. We loved the flexibility of management (even with last minute issues), return boat transfers included in the price, amazing breakfast and restaurant. Fantastic staff (management, reception, cleaning team, restaurant, kitchen, guards, in short: EVERYONE): kind, attentive, all while being respectful of privacy. We have stayed elsewhere in Lamu and Kijani truly stands out. Thank you.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Banana House and Wellness Centre is located in Shela village, Lamu 2.7 km from Gallery Baraka. The property is set 2.8 km from Lamu Fort. The location was amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They accommodated our needs and helped us with ways to get around the town. The environment was healing and very warm. Absolutely enjoyed it.

Jannat House is a stylish historic house located in the heart of the old town, with amazing atmosphere, very friendly staff including Caroline who helps with the most important issues, very tasty breakfast. Highly recommended

Baytulkher ligger 1 minutters gang fra 18th Century Swahili House Museum og tilbyder indkvartering med en udendørs swimmingpool, en terrasse og en døgnåben reception. Der er gratis wi-fi. My family and I so had a fantastic time at Baytulkher. The food was yummy, the house is beautiful and spacious, the swimming was perfect for young kids and the sunset view from the roof was delightful. The location is relatively quiet for Lamu town, not far from the port and the fan really helped us to sleep well. Malik was so kind, helpful and accommodating. He helped us with transport, drinks, mosquitos nets for the sofa bed and much more. I would highly recommend here. For the price you pay, you really do get a lot. We are very grateful to have found here. They have listened to the comments made in previous reviews, as issue like hot water have definitely been resolved and we received cleaning each day.

Pwani House - Lamu Seafront ligger i Lamu, fra Gallery Baraka og fra Riyadha Mosque. Der er gratis wi-fi samt en terrasse og en indendørs pool. Alle enheder hos pensionatet har en balkon med... Views, views views... Loved the features of the house, lot of attention to detail. Location is superb and Zion will make your stay so comfortable. Our favourite activity was to stargazing through the night! 🙏🙏
