Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, mountain view and a terrace, Milimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villa is set in Shela. The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is always available and welcoming. We have access to a wide range of activities and the hotel is well located, in the center of Shilla and a few minutes by walk from the beach.

Jannat house is very very romantic! The house is built in typical Swahili style and it lies in the centre of Lamu. It is super cosy, beautiful, rustic with many beautiful plants around and an amazing small pool in the centre of the house, next to a bar. The highlight (besides romantic style of the house with many balconies and stairs) were the people working there! Caroline and the rest of the staff were amazing! super cool, helpful, constantly around making sure we have everything we need. They also prepare the freshest food and the breakfasts were great. Thank you so so much fot this beautiful experience! They are also well known in Lamu and well conected and can help you with tips on where to go and how to reach it. Great!! Situated within 200 metres of 18th Century Swahili House Museum and 200 metres of Lamu Museum, Pwani House - Lamu Seafront features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Lamu. We had an amazing stay at Pwani House! Zion was an incredible host — so warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house itself is a beautiful traditional Swahili home, full of charm and character. We especially loved the balcony and the rooftop terrace. Watching the sunrise from there, with the sea breeze and the sound of the ocean, was absolutely unforgettable. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the true Lamu atmosphere. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

Authentic Swahili style villa Milele House features a balcony and is situated in Lamu, within just 300 metres of Gallery Baraka and 400 metres of Lamu Museum. We loved this property! It was such a fun stay and different than all our other hotels on our trip. Totally recommend the 3rd floor room because it has its own balcony. The breezes in the morning out there were incredible. Jamhuri was a great host and helped us book a walking tour and sunset dhow. Will be back!

The view on the rooftop for breakfast was fantastic. Delicious fresh fruit for breakfast every day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
