We've travelled a lot in SE Asia and have stayed in many hotels that have deserved a rating of 10. But there's often a qualification or two, small things we didn't like. At the wonderful Penh House Hotel there was nothing we didn't like. It was pure pleasure staying there. This 6-storey modern hotel has class. The design of the lobby with its high ceilings and tasteful art and decor is elegant and inviting. There's a rooftop pool and a clean, well-equipped gym and a spa. Our room had everything we could want: it's quiet, had an efficient AC, comfy bed and blackout curtains. We also appreciated the toiletries, a great shower and a balcony that we mostly used for drying our damp clothes after a day of sightseeing. The location couldn't be better. Only steps away are the Royal Palace, terrific shops and good restaurants -- check out the healthy eats at Backyard Cafe next door. Breakfasts were superb, a generous buffet offering a wide variety of fresh delicious food and good coffee. The rooftop breakfast room is also the hotel's restaurant. We didn't have dinner there but ordered room service once and the pad thai was delicious. The staff are all lovely, warm people (on my wife's birthday they presented her with heart-shape fruit with a birthday candle), and the daily housekeeping is excellent. Thank you all for making our five days in Phnom Penh a wonderful experience.

Lush & green with wonderful shaded areas to have a coffee or enjoy the pool. Including a hornbill to stop buy :) Excellent location, quiet but i walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and tourist attractions. Quaint open restaurant in the garden with excellent food - especially for breakfast offering a lot of local and international choices.
