My wife, our two-year-old son, and I just returned from the most incredible stay at Lankavatara Ocean Retreat & Spa, and we can’t stop raving about it! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in tranquility and treated like royalty. First and foremost, the food was absolutely outstanding, thanks to the incredibly talented Chef! Every meal was a culinary masterpiece, using fresh, local ingredients and showcasing the vibrant flavors of Sri Lanka. Our son is a picky eater, but the chef was always happy to whip up something special just for him, which was such a relief for us! The hotel management, especially the General Manager, truly sets this place apart. Their attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction is remarkable. They were always available to answer questions, offer recommendations, and ensure that our stay was perfect in every way. I also have to give a huge shout-out to the housekeeping staff. Our room was always impeccably clean and tidy, and they were so thoughtful about anticipating our needs as a family with a young child. It made our stay so much more comfortable and relaxing. And let’s not forget the beautiful gardens! The grounds were meticulously maintained by a dedicated gardener who clearly takes pride in his work. The lush greenery and vibrant flowers created a serene and picturesque setting that we thoroughly enjoyed. Finally, the receptionist was a wealth of information! He patiently answered all our questions about local life, customs, and traditions, giving us a deeper understanding and appreciation of the area. Lankavatara Ocean Retreat & Spa truly exceeded all our expectations. It’s a haven of peace and relaxation with exceptional service, delicious food, and stunning surroundings. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway, especially families with young children. Thank you, Lankavatara, for creating such a magical experience for us! Yakaduru Yala asub Yala rahvuspargi puhvervööndis. Yala rahvuspargi sissepääs on vaid 5 minuti kaugusel. The hosts were fantastic - particularly Hasitha. I was the only one staying during my visit (low season), but they filled my time with plenty of unforgettable activities. A highlight was the moonlight safari - we managed to spot a leopard during our drive which is very rare (I didn't see any during my safari at Yala). The food was amazing, probably some of the best meals I had during my stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts provided ample fresh drinking water (free of charge) which was a nice change from some of the other places I stayed. Other guests have commented on wildlife within the rooms. I mostly just saw some frogs and lizards, nothing too scary :)

Restorani ja basseiniga My Village asub Tissa Wewast vaid 900 meetri kaugusel. Avalikes kohtades ja tubades on tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Kõikides tubades on konditsioneer ja istumisnurk. We were surprised by the size of the room - as it is really huge. The owner is excellent, he did everything he could to us. We especially appreciated the details. He arranged safari for us with the guy Nishan, who was extremly kind and clients otiented.

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkimise, ühise puhkeruumi ja terrassiga La Safari Inn Tissamaharama asub Tissamaharamas, 1,6 km kaugusel Tissa Wewast. Wonderful place! Very kind staff and the room was by far the cleanest I’ve stayed in in Sri Lanka. In addition to arranging our safari They also arranged pickup from Mirissa Beach for a very reasonable price and our driver was AMAZING. His name was Sanjay. Request him if needing pickup!

We booked a spacious villa with a private pool at Good Karma, and it was a wonderful stay. The villa was very large, beautifully designed, and we loved waking up to a direct view of the pool from the bed. The welcome was exceptionally friendly, and throughout our stay the staff were consistently helpful and attentive. The beach in front of the property is very quiet - perfect for long walks where you’ll hardly meet another person. We felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended!

Situated in Tissamaharama, 2.9 km from Tissa Wewa, Tissa Wild Heaven features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Lovely pool and garden, delicious huge breakfast and friendly staff. The room was spacious with a balcony and a large comfy bed. I’d come back again.

Offering a garden and garden view, Maritime Nest Cabanas is located in Tangalle, 400 metres from Tangalle Beach and 23 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole. This place is fantastic and incredibly close to the beach! The villa itself was clean and cozy, nicely decorated, set within a truly amazing garden, with a lovely swimming pool. You are completely surrounded by nature here! At night, the only sounds you'll hear are local insects and birds. The staff was also wonderfully kind and attentive. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Aiaga Four Chalets Yala asub Hambantota piirkonnas Tissamaharamas, 9 km kaugusel Tissa Wewast ja 22 km kaugusel Situlpawwast. Great stay here, definitely 5 stars. The superior room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Food was great, plenty of choice of western or local food. Large and tasty portions. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.

My Resort Yala asub Tissamaharamas, 4,3 km kaugusel Tissa Wewast. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. My Resort Yala was absolutely amazing, probably the best place we stayed during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. Very quiet, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The hosts helped us with everything we needed, including organizing a safari. I would recommend doing only a half-day safari, as it can feel very rushed due to the large number of jeeps.
