Hemeka and his team live on site and were responsive and thoughtful in all their actions. Due to some illness we spent much of our stay in the property but it was the most wonderful place to be tethered to. Kandy city is very busy with traffic but Liselma sits in a quiet and peaceful road with super birdsong and monkeys. We found ourselves so close to the lake, places to eat (and the private hospital for medication) but if you simply need a place to rest and breathe the elevated position above the city gives wonderful far reaching views and an interesting nightscape for a glass of wine on one of the balconies.

At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Absolutely stunning place. I could live there forever. Whoever designed and arranged this place is a legend. Staff is so helpful and friendly. Place doesn't look from outside at all until they open their door. Our best stay in Sri Lanka so far and we had 6 different accommodations.
