From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was truly impressive. A special mention to Ms. Kaveesha, who was extremely supportive, cooperative, and went out of her way to make our stay smooth and comfortable. She personally showed us the room and guided us on many things during our stay. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a stunning view of the surrounding hills. The location of the hotel is about 5 km from the main town, but that makes it even more peaceful and beautiful. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, and in the morning, the sound of birds chirping adds a magical, natural charm. It truly feels like staying in the heart of nature. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention too – it had a wide spread with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, this hotel perfectly balances comfort, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kandy.

Everything was just perfect!! We stayed in Kandy during the heavy rains 11/25 for 4 days and the hotel staff - although the had to work non-stop - took such good care of us. It’s just incredible how they kept things working (not only electricity, hot water supply, but also exceptional service at any time). It was a national tragedy but this hotel was the best place we could have wished to stay. We can totally recommend this luxury und outstanding accommodation!!

Breathtaking view from infinity pool. But above all, incredible staff led by manager Rodney. First night hotel owner came to play and sing Sri Lankan music on his guitar. They prepared seafood plater and mixed grill on the rooftop. Even next morning at 5 am, when our pick-up driver didn't show up, Rodney ordered 2 staff members to take us to train and Ella. Even train tickets and seats where arranged by Matisha. They saved our day.

Offering a garden and mountain view, The Grove is situated in Kandy, 10 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 15 km from Kandy railway station. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. The views and the building itself are stunning, a real wow factor! The pool is over the track and down some steps, it’s breathtaking turning the corner and seeing that view. The food was great, and the service also amazing. The property is 16km from the centre of Kandy- this was perfect for us as we were looking for quiet and relax. It would be easy for the hotel to assist in a car or tuk tuk for you. The house is high, the drive is beautiful. Our driver made it in our minivan but I was a little nervous… it’s not an easy road. But nothing that’s unusual for Sri Lanka to be honest!The hotel does have a tuk tuk and they can assist with collecting you from the bottom of the hill so you will be able to reach it. It was just a bit of a shock for us as we hadn’t realised how high up it was. Totally worth it though! Thank you so much your amazing hospitality I’m so glad we found The Grove.
