At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. The warm hosts were so welcoming. They helped arrange an excellent tuk tuk driver and recommended a simple restaurant with the best Indian food I have ever had times a million. They also provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning and made us feel at home.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. I can’t recommend Ceylon Ayu Resort enough. My girlfriend and I stayed here during her birthday, and the staff at the resort helped me arrange several surprises, which made her birthday unforgettable. Rodney and the rest of the staff are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. We enjoyed the pool, a free massage, and the jungle views from the hotel. The day trip arranged by the hotel was great, and maybe the best part of our stay was the food. We asked for Sri Lankan food, and it was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The resort also offers a free ride to the bus/train station. This was really helpful, especially since our bus was canceled, and the driver assisted us in finding another way to continue our travels. I consider this stay to be an incredibly affordable option with 5-star service. All our needs were attended to, and we slept well in our beautiful room.

Offering a garden and mountain view, The Grove is situated in Kandy, 10 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 15 km from Kandy railway station. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. We had two nights at the Grove and everything was perfect. We had the family room which was enormous with a beautiful shaded balcony overlooking the mountains. The breakfast was phenomenal- eggs and sausages, followed by platters of French toast and pancakes and finally a plate of fresh fruit. We ate their both evenings and the dinners were excellent. We especially loved the infinity pool which was perfect for a cool down and big enough to get a proper swim in after a hot walk or run.

Since there was flooding, I was in communication and ask them to change the facility to some other on the south. There were amazing and quickly did it without any problem. We had amazing time at their chain hotel in Bentota - Taru Long house. I would definitely always pick up these hotels if I would go again to Sri Lanka
