This is truly charming place to stay, located in a peaceful and quiet area. The owner was very kind a helpful, recommending interesting places to visit and arranging me transfer to next destination. The accommodation itself is beautiful, newly built, has a warm wooden feel. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended!

This place is magical: a beautiful house immersed in a lush garden, so harmonic and peaceful despite being close to the bustling streets of Kandy. The family owning the property are a lovely bunch who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, as well as the staff. The design is beautiful, and so is the food, tasty and delicious. I would have stayed longer if I had the opportunity! Cannot recommend this place enough.

My stay at this hotel was an absolute pleasure! From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely kind and professional. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfectly maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and welcoming. What truly stood out was the kitchen. The head chef is simply amazing ❤️ every dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and even more delicious to taste. everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. This was a special stay for us. The staff went above and beyond for us and were constantly so warm, friendly, generous and lovely. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer and spent more time in the accommodation and with the staff. The facilities and space were extremely lovely, beautiful and very clean. I cannot recommend Villa olde Ceylon enough! I arrived in Sri Lanka and this was my first stop. As a solo female traveler I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my vacation. The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful, they arranged pick up at the airport and a tuktuk driver for a tour as well. The tuktuk driver Mr. Gehan was excellent and please ask for him if you stay and need transportation. The hotel itself is super cosy, rooms are specious and everything was clean and nice. All the art work around the property is lovely and adds a really interesting touch. The hotel is a little outside of Kandy city centre but that is just a bonus in my book as it’s quieter and it’s very easy to get into town. If you need a place to stay in Kandy, look no further!
