Amazing facilities, great customer service and restaurants

Very polite staff and good breakfast

Beautiful hotel, set just above Kandy with amazing views. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Fab breakfast buffet

Excellent historical hotel! You really can feel and see the long tradition all over the hotel. It’s like stepping one hundred years back.

Views! Views! Views! Radisson Hotel in Kandy has some of the most spectacular views of the city and the sunsets were amazing from the rooftop pool! The long area around the pool is great and drinks can be served directly to your sunbed. Food was good and perfect for some day time snacks. Staff were friendly and accommodating when needing to arrange transport, laundry etc.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful hotel. Upon entering, you're treated to a stunning view of the lake and the trees. The service from Sandun Fernando was excellent, a very friendly man and kind to the children. The beds were beautifully made, with a new surprise from Chandru every day (see photo). The service at the pool was also very pleasant. Our stay was wonderful, and we definitely recommend the hotel, especially with children.

Good breakfast Great location

Facilities were great and the staff were outstanding

We booked a top-floor apartment with two bedrooms just for our family, and it felt like a real treat. The private balcony was the highlight — beautiful views over the city and lake, especially early in the morning and late at night. The location is spot on, right in the centre and easy to walk to nearby attractions and restaurants. That said, we ended up dining at the hotel’s own restaurant most of the time — it was that good. The food presentation is world-class, and everything we tried was genuinely delicious. The kids loved it, so we found ourselves going back for both lunch and dinner. Breakfast was also excellent, with a buffet offering a mix of Sri Lankan and European options. Plenty of choices, all fresh and well-prepared. WiFi was fast, and the beds and air conditioning were very comfortable. The staff were professional, friendly, and clearly well trained — always happy to help. Highly recommend this little gem.

Cool location - it’s on the him side, so no noise. Very relaxing. Pool - very convenient. Breakfast was amazing! Staff very friendly. Recommended!

the views were amazing and the room was beautiful. We felt it was more suited for couples than a family.

Very good stuff, kind and honest, very clear and comfortable rooms and very good service: There is a big and excellent pool with a beautiful view. We are four lived here and all of us appreciate excellent service. very calm and beautiful view from rooms too.

A very comfortable hotel with an exceptional setting, just outside the city. About five minutes from a tuk-tuk. A full breakfast with a view of nature. A refreshing pool for the afternoon, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It deserves a 10/10 for value for money.

The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and spacious.

Very good location. Friendly staff. Nice and clean rooms.

Very close to the center. Had a room with view over the lake and "tooth" temple. Very friendly and helpfull staff.

Wonderful quiet location but walking distance to the city with magnificent views over the lake. Rooms are very well appointed and the staff are very eager to help. Excellent breakfast and very good value for money. We loved our stay

The views over the lake, Royal Palace and city are supreme. The room facilities are excellent and modern. Fantastic hotel.

I was impressed from the moment I checked in. Everything was well organized, the room was immaculate, and the overall experience was excellent!

This lovely hotel reminded me of 1970s Hollywood Hills houses. Our rooms had windows from ceiling to floor with the most incredible views over beautiful Kandy. Amazing trees and bird life outside our windows. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Thr staff could not have been nicer or more obliging. Great breakfast. A great stay.

Amazing staff. Spacious room. Nice balcony with beautiful views. Delicious food in the restaurant. The bed was super comfy and big. Nice to have a kettle with free coffee, tea and water in the room. We loved our stay here.

Pipi and her team are absolutely wonderful and they made us feel so welcomed. The rooms were styled well and very spacious! Bathrooms were excellent and the beds very comfy too. Nicely nestled just out of the city centre but still very easy to get into town from the bungalow. Would have loved to see this place in the dry season but it was still magical in the rain. The food was excellent and we loved the omelettes!
